Ashrafi Muslim, Hindutva Forces, "Secular" parties & their COLLECTIVE selfish appropriation of Abdul Hamid Idrisi.

Under normal circumstances, no one would give a shit to dark, kamzaat & poor Musalman, but PARAM VIR CHAKRA of Abdul Hamid made him center of selfish politics.

It is surprising to note as to how cleverly IDRISI caste of Abdul Hamid was chopped off to present him as "ideal" Muslim, whose advantage was taken mostly by upper caste Ashrafi Muslims of India including Ashraf politicians of Congress and other parties to score patriotism points

Abdul Hamid was from Muslim OBC Idrisi or Darzi community of traditional tailors. NO Pathan, Rajput, Brahmin Tyagi and most importantly Syed Muslim would ever think of marrying his daughter or sister with IDRISI boy, even if he is an IAS officer.

Reason: "Unclean Kamzaat Semen"

Parm Vir Chakra, Pakistan &"ideal desh bhakat" Musalman also made Abdul Hamid a perfect trophie to appropriate by upper caste Hindutva forces.

Trust me, even Hindu Brahmins will not marry their daughter with IDRISI boy who reconverts to Hinduism.

Reason: "Unclean malech semen".

I find it very troubling that caste of Abdul Hamid was chopped off with outwardly noble & egalitarian reason but inwardly with ulterior motive to appropriate his convenient "Muslim" identity for usurpation for different purposes by different forces & ideologies.

Lastly,

Chopping of caste of Abdul Hamid deprived entire Indian Pasmanda Muslim community over many generations, an icon of valor, bravery and bravado.

It was mostly Ashrafi Muslims of Congress, secularJamat and Hindutva forces who milked his legacy.
