EPIC BATTLE FOR PASI SCHEDULED CASTE BEGINS IN UTTAR PRADESH
Pasi (Dusadh / Paswan) an increasingly politically assertive scheduled caste community of Eastern & Central UP is now the target of BSP, ASP (Kanshi Ram) and Priyanka Gandhi's Congress.
Only those rooted to Dalit Bahujan politics of North India noticed an other wise inconspicuous news item of demolition of "Dalit" houses in Palia village of Azamgarh in Eastern/Central UP. Ambedkerite news handles just "reported" but did not ANALYZE it BRAHMINICALLY.
At the heart of entire STORM lies MUNNA PASI, husband of Palia village gram pradhan (seat reserved for women)a self made affluent man with dabang characteristics typical of rural UP from an extremely poor Pasi Scheduled Caste community, which also call themselves Paswan in Bihar.
A small dispute of local nature that involved eve teasing of girl involving two villages went to police dominated by UCs and Yadavs.
The Munna Pasi being an "influencal" village person tried to mediate in this dispute and suddenly scuffle ensued between him and police.
What happened after that remains ambiguous.
Except that Pasi family alleges that police contingent came back at night with hammers etc. and destroyed their house, looted their expensive goods & mishandled women of Pasi's family. Police says Munna did it himself and not police.
The issue of violence by state police on Pasi SC community and that too on a well known Pasi family has now taken a completely political turn.
Chandra Shekhar Azad "Ravan" was first to send his delegation to asses the damage and meet the Pasi community. He even Tweeted about it.
Priyanka Gandhi Vadra "prabhari" (in charge) of Eastern Uttar Pradesh given gigantic task of reviving Congress in Eastern UP has also jumped the fray and Tweeted about this incident.
Mayawati Behanji, who wants to expand its Scheduled Caste support base beyond Jatav community has also reached out to Pasi community and promised to send a delegation of Ex BSP MLA Charan Dinkar to meet the grieved family. She has also Tweeted about it.
Lastly,
Chandra Shekhar Azad "Ravan" of Bhim Army & ASP(Kanshi Ram) has said that he will PERSONALLY go and meet Munna Pasi on 19th July. This is also opportunity for him to clear misgivings that arose, when his video of chastising Pasi youth for using Pasi surname went viral.
