Since ancient times Ayurveda & Jyotish have been practiced together.

Hindu Astrology & Ayurveda are sister sciences as they both are interconnected.Puncha Bhoota-
five basic elements of creation (space,air, fire,water,earth) give rise to the doshas of Ayurveda–Kapha, Pitta & Vata. The 12 zodiac sign are divided into same these four elements/dosha.

Every Nakshatra has a symbolic tree that defines its connection with eternal nature and deities. In ancient Vedic culture there was a tradition that whenever a baby is born in someone’s home, that person was supposed to plant a tree of the Moon Nakshatra in which baby is born.

The person was supposed to take care of the tree as his child because it was believed that the more good & healthy the tree will grow,it will prosper more health & happiness to the child

Vedic ancient sages have assigned different kinds of medicinal trees with 27 Nakshatra -

•𝐀𝐬𝐡𝐰𝐢𝐧𝐢 𝐍𝐚𝐤𝐬𝐡𝐚𝐭𝐫𝐚
Nux Vomica/Kupilu is the tree associated with ashwini. In ayurveda poison of this herb is used as brilliant drug .Leaves of nux are used for treating ulcers & wounds for quick healing. As the shakti of ashwini is " to heal things quickly".

Seeds of this herbs are aphrodisiac, appetizer, digestive, purgative & stimulant in nature. In Ayurveda after purification it is used to prepare numerous formulations. Such as Vomicine etc.

This herb can be beneficial for ashwini native also planting or worshipping this tree.

•𝐁𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐢 𝐍𝐚𝐤𝐬𝐡𝐚𝐭𝐫𝐚
Indian Gooseberry/Amla is associated with Bharani.
a fruit that has long been revered in India as a nutritive tonic, blood purifier,restorative mucous membrane tonic.* One fruit contains as much vitamin C as 20 oranges.

Eating Indian gooseberry is the best health remedies for bharani native as it purify blood in our body like the
 Apabharani Shakti of Bharani (The Power to “Take Things Away and Move On or Power to Cleanse and Remove Impurities” ).

•𝐊𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐭𝐢𝐤𝐚 𝐍𝐚𝐤𝐬𝐡𝐚𝐭𝐫𝐚
Cluster Fig/Gular is the ruling tree of this nakshatra. According to Ayurveda Gular promotes physical strength & is a body coolant. It is high in vitamin B2,iron,copper, potassium&magnesium.all parts of the tree are used for medical purpose

The leaves&bark are also used in spiritual practices,bark is used in homam fire.This tree has been used for treating dysentery, piles, stomach pain, fistula, burning sensation, ulcers&urinary disorders.they are used as remedy.

•Rohini Nakshatra
Syzygium cumimi /Jamun tree is associated with Rohini.Jamun fruit is sweet & tangy,is popularly used in Ayurvedic medicine to treat diabetes.rohini native tend to do over consumption of sweets which may results in diabetes,eating jamun is good remedy for that.

Jamun is excellent source of antioxidants & Vitamin C. It contains high level of carotene, iron, calcium, potassium,phosphorus. As the shakti of rohini is" growth" eating jamun or doing Hindu rituals remedies with jamun tree is very auspicious for rohini native.

•Mrigashira Nakshatra-
Acacia Catechu tree/Khadira is associated with this nakshatra. Acacia plant is used in variety of medicinal preparations to combat skin disorders of all kinds. As per Ayurveda khadira is best for treatment of leprosy & similar kind of skin issues.

Khadira oil or powder are used for external application to treat skin conditions.Apart from that, Khadira is hugely used in blood tissue disorders such as fever, bleeding disorders etc.

As the shakti of Mrigashira is the "power to give fulfillment" tree of this nakshatra useful in diabetes, obesity, cough, cold, worm infection, bleeding disorder, anemia, liver disease & relieves inflammation.

•Ardra Nakshatra -
Diospyros Melanoxylon/Tendu Tree is associated with this nakshatra.
It has been used extensively in Indian traditional medicine to treat for a variety of diseases including diarrhea, cholera, dysentery, intermittent fevers,bronchitis, carbuncles,cough,cramps

•Punarvasu Nakshatra -

In Ayurveda bamboo is referred to as vanshalochana which is secreted from nodes of bamboo tress. It has kapha - Pitta(balancing property that helps in improving skin qualities.
It is beneficial in lowering blood glucose levels due to the presence of -

Antioxidants. Bamboo mentioned in Ayurveda for the treatment of cough, skin diseases, wounds, digestive disorders, nausea, gynecological disorders and fever.

•Pushya Nakshatra -

Sacred Fig/Peepal tree is the ruling tree of this nakshatra. According to Ayurveda every part of peepal tree is useful for treating numerous health issues. It works powerfully on kapha(water) & Pitta(fire) dosha balances in our body.

•Ashlesha Nakshatra -

Calophyllum Inophyllum /Sultan Champa is associated with Ashlesha. It is source for bio-diesel is used in treating skin disorders, diarrhoea, osteo arthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, kapha-pitta imbalance disorder, it improve appetite, & to treat digestion.

•Magha Nakshatra -

Banyan Tree is associated with Magha Nakshatra. It is used for treatment of various types of infection & diseases such as for digestion system, arthritis, clears vaginal infections,for skin care. It also prevent anxiety & depression.

•Purva Phalguni Nakshatra -

Butea Monosperma/Palasha is associated with this nakshatra. Flowers of Palasha has been used in ancient India in beauty care & to maintain complexion, suppleness of a skin. Seeds has been used in treatment of worm infestation.

•Uttara Phalguni Nakshatra -

Ficus Arnottiana/Payari tree is associated with this.
A decoction of the plant juices & leaves of this used as a internal remedy for weakness after childbirth. Ficus Hispida is another ayurvedic herb for increasing breast milk in lactating women.

•Hasta Nakshatra -

Jasminum Grandiflora is associated with this nakshatra. It is in ayurvedic medicine plant used for treatment of wounds, skin disease, ulcers of the oral cavity, gingivitis, headache, erectile dysfunction & eye diseases.

•Chitra Nakshatra -

Bilva/Bael tree is associated with this nakshatra.
Bilva is in ayurvedic herbs for immunity booster. According to Hindu scriptures, Belpatra I.e the bilva leaf signifies three components which eliminate negative energies in human body.
