1. Try a new Restaurant together. Food Dates are the most common dates, so why not add a little twist/adventure to it. Go to a new place and review their food and ambience.
2. Go to a game night together.
3. Go Hiking. Abuja and hiking is like 5&6. They even call us "Israelites Pro Max". 🤣😂Why don't you just do it with your date?
4. Couple’s Yoga/Massage. Believe me this is one of my faves. Relax & destress together.
5. Paintball/Go Karting. Its fun.
6. Go swimming/Kayaking.
7. Try a new Cuisine together. Introduce your date to your favourite cuisine and walk them through it.
8. Movie Night with Pizza (Netflix and Chill). Basic and Budget friendly.
9. Explore places together. Stop living your whole life in Gwarinpa and Wuse. Have you been to Kuje? Do you know where Karshi is? 📍
10. Indoor Date Night. Cook your favourite meals. Go extra with a candlelight set up, few flowers here and there, warm lights, soft music…whew.
11. Ice Cream Date. Or a parfait date. Less about the food, more about the deep conversation.
12. Breakfast Date. If you can both wake up on time, its a good way to start your day.
13. Picnics! Beach picnics are the best but you can manage Jabi Lake or Crush. At the most basic, all you really need is a mat, cutlery, a basket and food!
14. See a show together - Drama/Poetry/Spoken Word. AbujaLitSociety is very active.
15. Go on a double date. Yes! These are extremely fun! Hanging with other couples is always a super fun time.
16. Take a cooking class. You can also arrange one at home, with an online tutorial.
17. Gallery Viewings. There are great new galleries in Abuja.
18. Sip and Paint. You’ll need brushes, paint, pencils, an easel and canvas. You get to have fun, play around and explore your creativity.
19. Go to a Karaoke event. Its even more fun if you sing together or to each other. No professional voice training required.
20. Car Dates: The best!!! ❤️💘 No distraction, just low music, junk food, drinks and deep conversation.
21. Virtual date. There's still COVID outside. You just need a stable internet connection. Have video call throughout the day whilst living your life.
