As of 8:00am AFT Miles is still alive and posting his FB. Started a new 4c thread as well but harder to judge if that's actually him. Still at the safe house it seems, airport in Kabul is chaos right now. Safe house location has also been revealed, by a third party he messaged.

looks like Miles may be finally out of the country, with this being posted at roughly 6am Afghanistan Time.

Miles seems to mistake here that the accusation was that the interpreter's location was shared. That was not the issue. The interpreter's name being shared is the dangerous part, as this reveals his family, those who may know him, and enables the Taliban to hunt him down. /cont

Miles stated on the livestream that his interpreter fears for his life, and that of his family. Privately revealing his identity to embassy workers to attempt to obtain a visa or protection, I understand. The way the interpreter's name was published was not remotely close to that

Miles is safe in Dubai. Coverage shall hold here for now, at least for a while, unless something crazy happens.
