Time to touch on a little bit of Mexican History.
Mexican Fascism
I don't really enjoy touching on the politics of my country given the fact that I see the existence of this it as a disgrace. This sorta touches on the fact I refuse to acknowledge any notion of a "Mexican Nation" and my opposition to Mexican Nationalism.
Nevertheless, it seems to be a topic of interest for certain people, due to the fact that it is indeed fun to research into the variety of Fascist movements across the world, the bizarre versions that the Philosophy can give birth to is truly amazing. Thus I chose to touch on it.
Before I properly touch on the topic we must go into several things regarding México. First and foremost is the History of the country; This Nation as a whole can be describes in two words, Pure Comedy. If one bothers to research into the developments of it...
since its conception, we must not be surprised in the fact it's filled with tragedy after tragedy, humilliation after humilliation, war after war, crash after crash. Not a single moment of peace, and even in the so called moments of Peace such as the "Porfiriato"...
there's not much to brag amount given the fact that even then, the day to day Mexican never truly experienced an organic national day on its life. Once we managed to get our independence, the Nation was a composition of several ethnicities with not a single way of...
uniting under a single creed. Attempts were made, that's for sure, and yet they all failed. One of the biggest displays of this is that during 50% of the first century of the country, the North was completely disconnected from the situation on the rest of the country.
I am from the North, I've had to do research on this topic in my university degree, and as a whole, North and Center/South remained to be foreign to each other for a while, add this to the fact that the ethnic composition of the North tends to be of an european blend...
whereas the Center and South tend to be more Native or Mixed. This is not to say that the people on the North are not massive mutts, but more to display the fact that both parts of the country developed themselves under different demographic, geographical and cultural outlines.
It even gets to be a meme amongst mexicans, since its usually Northerns being basically redneck cowboy tall european looking people, compared to funny sounding short people on the Center and South. The North of México is very similar to the South of the US to a degree.
This is where we can see the main issues with Mexican Nationality, and it is, we aren't really a Nation, México never had the chance to do so nor to actually establish something people gave a damn about as many foreigners try to make it seem like...
this is where the paper of Mexican Fascist Ideologues comes in.
We would see the pursuit of adapting the Philosophy to the Nation through different movements that more or less ended up being larpy and didn't really want to be Fascist, but just be Reactionary Trads.
It gets so lame to the point there would be a Mexican Fascist Party that would openly be mocked by Italians for being a bland copy with a tendency to the right that didn't even apply to Fascistic values.
Then we get to the Synarchists; Oh the Synarchists, the face of Mexican Fascism to foreigners... I used to agree with one of their core beliefs, which was the fact México DOES NOT have anything to be nationalistic about, and the foundations of the Mexican Nation are weak...
thus we need to destroy them, and from the ashes build something new, an Identity for all Mexicans to join and support. I still think that if we were to try something at all, it should be something similar to that though.
People have to know the following about Synarchism...
after the death of José Antonio Urquiza, the party would fall under the hands of Salvador Abascal, an individual that would lead the party in a more right wing manner, ally itself with subversive parties and as a whole...
completely destroy the party in a way that made them not try to gain power at all. This individual in specific managed to make Synarchists remain in a neutral way, destroying any path torwards power due to his destructive ways of leading them.
The relations and ancestors of this individual clearly showcase why he'd have interest in subverting the party. It gets so ridiculous he would openly reject support from Fascist parties of Europe.
After that we can go into the ARM, or golden shirts...
organization that would more or less can be positioned on the right, plus of the fact they would die by the sword very early on, and would get completely crushed by Communists in the Battle of the Zocalo.
Anything beyond that is individual figures or thinkers...
that only schizophrenic anarcho-fascists like @delizardi_ handle; such as José Luis Ontiveros, or Rubén Salazar Mallen.
The modern state of Fascist movements in México is that of an old ghost, not a single person stands out, nor do we have any party to appeal to.
There were attempts to reform Fascists in here to the point of making them appealing to the masses through left wing discourse, but as a whole the cause of Fascism in México is lost. Even the Synarchists are just a bunch of old boomers and old ladies marching on parks.
And don't even get me started on losers like Salvador Borrego, figures that instead of helping with their wacky revisionism and vague Fascist theory, messed up most people on their understanding of Fascism. As well as making them adopt a twisted Mexican Hitlerite Socialism.
I can see why some people try to wrap their mind around it and theorize some form of Fascism that could work in this hellhole, but as a whole and for many people that used to take Mexican Politics in any sort of serious manner, Fascism in México is better off dead.
