This is exceptional my study: Front facing the bid house. Rustic ashlar blocks at the main opening, finer into the quad and turning into harled rough work in the business end of things

The sawn coursed rubble is flush pointed, ruled out AND white lined. Around the corner the main body of the building is harled, (worn now).

Bully boy has some neat cobbling and we can still see the wear marks of the carts

You get a sense of the completeness of the harl (as opposed to sneck harl) where the door slides down

And this tacked on to the rear end of the complex. The upper part is timber and supported on iron joists. New meets the old? No idea what it was for?

Across the road is a converted barn which is sneck harled and ruled out.

The snack harl came right into the window

And to finish off with you can have a few bits of cherry-cocking and (genuflects) lime inclusions. The point here is how have we missed all this? The sense of hierarchy in this one complex I think is really impactful. #Limemortar #Onceseen #TP33/TP31
