After recent news of TN Rajaratnam Pillai's house being demolished, here are some more heritage lost due to our apathy:

1) Thiruvotriyur Thyagaiyer's house where thyagaraja visited when he came to madras. Gone.

2) Chidambara Bhagawatar , Harikatha Exponent's house

3) Mysore Vasudevachar's

4) Veena Dhannamal 's house now gone.

5) Thyagaraja's house in Thiruvaiyaru made into some ugly structure

6) Shyama Shastri's house original beautiful old house where he was born, made into some fancy building with vitrified tiles.

I wonder what's going to happen to Mylapore Gauri Ammal's house and Meenakshi Sundaram Pillai 's houses.
