Let’s meet NC Proud Boy John Fischer.
He is co-owner of Got Gutters LLC in Johnston County.
Fischer is one of the many unmasked, bearded white men who wear PB colors. He attended the insurrection & consistently posts bigotry on social media.
Fischer regularly posts his political & medical conspiracies and bigotry to his FB, usually by quoting others who share his position. It’s all horrible.
He & his brother-in-law Ryan Barry are both long time members of the rebranded anti-vaccine ReopenNC FB group: Impeach Cooper.
Fischer’s brother-in-law is NC resident Ryan “Shaggy” Barry; Got Gutters LLC was his workplace on FB, Nov 2020.
Barry is also a Proud Boy / PB adjacent & attended events w/ other PBs.
Barry went to DC for the insurrection & was arrested near BLM Plaza on 5 Jan for simple assault.
Ryan Barry assaulted several people the night of Jan 5. Just prior to arrest, Barry assaulted his brother-in-law, John Fischer.
They got into an argument in front of a line of riot cops.
Why? Bcuz Fischer (w/ megaphone) told Barry to pick his plate carrier up off the street.
John Fischer livestreamed some of the insurrection on his FB. Videos are no longer publicly available on FB, but they are on his YouTube.
All footage are aerials of the crowd outside the Capitol. Fischer was up on scaffolding, giving him a vantage point to watch events unfold.
Unknown if Fischer or Barry breached the Capitol like other Proud Boys, several of whom caught federal charges for their organized participation in the insurrection, eg: NC resident & Proud Boy Charles Donohoe.
Prior to Jan 6, John Fischer is documented attending PB heavy events in DC on Nov 14 & Dec 12, 2020 and events in Raleigh NC w/ Proud Boys on 28 Nov 2020 & 20 March 2021.
Saturday, 28 Aug, he was in Wilmington NC w/ other Proud Boys for a weird walk-about.
March 2021: John Fischer shared a post by a Impeach Roy Cooper FB admin, Kim Jordan, that advertised an event hosted by a new grift in town: NCC4CR.
Jordan @beautyville described NCC4CR as the legal arm to the Impeach Roy Cooper group’s political activism.
tl;dr NCC4CR is a NC LLC that solicits $$ for lawsuits.
They ask for plaintiffs in a pay to play scheme and solicit $$ to invest in existing lawsuits. Supporters regularly ask on social media abt lawsuit status implying they are not kept informed.
icymi: in June, NCC4CR gave $10K to TX lawyer, Paul Davis, for civil suit 6:21-cv-162. Defendants includ all 50 state governors.
By Aug, Davis hd cancelled the suit.
NCC4CR hasn’t told supporters; instead, NCC4CR is grifting for $$, using the suit as proof of mission efficacy.
