The world has gone mad.

Let’s get this straight - I’m not an “anti-vaxxer”, right wing extremist or white supremacist. I’m just your average girl next door who knows how to read, evaluate data and practice critical thought.

I would be first in line to take the Covid vax if…

Thread\

1. If it stopped infection/transmission thereby protecting others and could eliminate the virus off the planet. Unfortunately it doesn’t and it can’t.

2. If I was at risk of severe outcomes from the virus and had a high chance of requiring hospitalization.

I am low risk.

3. If booster shots weren’t going to be a thing every 6-8 months indefinitely. They will be.

4. If the shots and every future booster didn’t make you sick and leave many in bed for days with Covid-like symptoms.

5. If there weren’t so many potential side effects from taking the shot like myocarditis, pericarditis, cardiac arrest, stroke, blood clots, allergies, Bell’s palsy, etc.

6. If there was longitudinal data that proved the vax was safe in the long-term with no negative interactions with future variants and no other long-term health impacts. There is no such data, yet.

7. If pharmaceutical companies were liable for adverse effects caused by the vaccines.

They’re completely exempt from any liability.

8. If I still had any trust or faith left in governments and public health agencies. I don’t.

They have lied, mislead, misrepresented data, turned citizens against one another, ignored science that didn’t fit their narrative, censored, coerced, threatened & discriminated.

9. If my very healthy, fit and young friend hadn’t died from cardiac arrest just a few days after her second dose of the vaccine.

I’m not “anti-vax” - I’m anti-coercion, anti-censorship, anti-vaccine passports, anti-lies, anti-corruption and anti-discrimination. I’m pro-choice, pro-body autonomy, pro-informed consent and pro-human rights.

For the above reasons, I have chosen not to take the Covid vax - for now. Please respect the well-informed choice I have made for my body and I’ll respect yours. As explained above, my choice doesn’t impact you - even if the corrupt gov/public health tells you it does.

Just adding a few more “if’s” to the thread to make sure I’ve covered all my bases for not wanting to take the vax right now.

…………

10. If natural immunity wasn’t more robust and long-lasting than vax immunity. It is.

11. If the vax really could stop future variants from arising as the gov/public health tells us it can. It can’t. Leaky “imperfect”vaccines like this one that don’t stop infection/transmission can actually increase the likelihood of vaccine-evading variants from developing.

12. If there were other, more traditional in design, vax options available that had better safety profiles, didn’t use mRNA technology and didn’t introduce the spike protein into my body. There aren’t. In Canada we ONLY have mRNA vax’s available.

13. If there weren’t natural ways to build my immunity including taking Vit D/Zinc/Vit C/Magnesium, eating well, exercising, drinking water, getting rest, trying to keep stress levels down (ie. avoiding fear/hysteria), getting sun, fresh air etc.

14. If I couldn’t stay home if I was experiencing covid-like symptoms. Fortunately, I can reduce the possibility of transmission if I get Covid as I’ll likely have symptoms (not suppressed by the vax) signalling me to isolate & the vast majority of spread happens when symptomatic

I wanted to clarify that I’m not trying to convince anyone not to take the shot, I’m pro-vax for those at high risk and adults who WANT to take it for whatever reason. I’m just against the discrimination, disrespect, bullying, intimidation, lies and coercion against the unvaxxed.

And I’m against unscientific and unnecessary government overreach, specifically vaxports and restrictions against the unvaccinated who pose no more of a threat to the vaxxed than the vaxxed do to each other.
