Here’s my dad, Nigel, at Land’s End this morning. Take a wild guess where he’s cycling to?

I’m going to tweet his route every day, so if you see him on the road you can give him a wave or even ride along with him for a bit. He’s good company :)

After a strong first day and a good kip, Nigel's Land's End to John O'Groats ride takes him to Lostwithiel. Apparently there's "a big hill out of Redruth which is a bit unfair - could be in bottom gear for the first time"

Cornwall people: be nice to this man pls :)

Day 3 - Lostwithiel to Bude. Hopefully dad will have a better day than yesterday, which featured Persistent Garmin Bullshit and shelter from the rain under a cement mixer #glamorous #NigeLEJOG

It's Bude to Barnstaple today for Nigel, minus his panniers (@vicnicholas = support crew).
Yesterday's highlight was seeing wild (wild, wild) horses on Bodmin Moor #NigeLEJOG

Stage 5 of #NigeLEJOG from Barnstaple to Bampton. Yesterday featured the delights of the "Tarka Trail" and a tail wind. Today could be tougher ...

Bampton to Glasto today - he's waved goodbye to @vicnicholas and is riding solo. Back with The Cheery Panniers and hoping for no further mechanicals (mudguard trouble yesterday) #NigeLEJOG

Stage 7 - Glastonbury to Bristol, where dad will have a well deserved rest day. (Imagine he'll spend most of it drying his kit.) He's delighted to have knocked off two counties and made it to Somerset!

Rest day in Bristol for Nigel. He's been joined by his other half for a day chilling out and looking at alms houses and whatnot. Well earned glass of red at the Hotel du Vin too :)

Stage 8 of #NigeLEJOG - Bristol to Cheltenham: 81km. Hope his legs haven't forgotten their job after a rest day.

I'm looking forward to joining dad on Sat, for Warwick to Burton on Trent and will be attempting to get some video footage as we cycle together. What could go wrong?

Nigel's reward for a tough stage yesterday was a tasty Italian dinner in Cheltenham (his companion: the fabulous Utopia Avenue by @david_mitchell). Today's stage takes him to Warwick. #NigeLEJOG

… and here we are together, in glamorous Tamworth! Next stop: Burton #NigeLEJOG

Today's stage takes us through The Peoples' Republic of Derbados - shout out to @DanBiggles22 and the @HuubWattbike crew :)

Bit of a pretentious egg situ at breakfast, but we got through it …
