I'm going full-time DAOs.
Here's how - and how you can too.
I've been a DAO contributor since 2018.
First through writing.
Then through governance.
Now through leadership.
I stand up internet communities and create tokens that represent ownership.
Full-time DAOs means working for ownership.
Working for ownership means working for tokens.
I will be compensated entirely in on-chain assets - sometimes as ETH or USDC but mainly through governance tokens.
Working for DAOs consists of:
- Org Structure
- Token Distribution
- Communication
- Governance
- Treasury Management
All to create self-sustaining digital economies.
DAOs are positive sum.
My goal is to create templates to help DAOs evolve - especially as we start to see more DAO mergers, and more DAO partnerships.
I hope to be a key connector in brokering those relationships.
If you’re new to DAOs, here's where to start.
- Take notes at meetings.
- Interview core contributors.
- Engage in governance discussions.
- Vote on every Snapshot proposal.
- Organize a local meetup.
Challenge yourself to learn as much as possible.
I've talked about DAOs endlessly the past few weeks.
The full article below links to a bunch of podcasts to hear more.
In the meantime, follow these gems to stay up on all things DAOs.
Special thanks to everyone who has played a role in my crypto journey.
You know who you are, and you give me the confidence to explore the unknown.
