The World

A short guide

🔴 US domination of the Euro-Atlantic area remains essential, in any foreseeable future, to:

▪️security of the US eastern seaboard

▪️US global dominance /1.

⚪️ For Euro-Atlantic dominance, in any foreseeable future:

▪️the EU needs the US

▪️the US needs a much enhanced contribution from the EU (the UK is useful, but not essential) /2.

🔵 US domination of the Asia-Pacific region, for which it needs a greater contribution from regional allies is, similarly, essential to:

▪️security of the US western seaboard

▪️US global dominance /3.

🌎 US global dominance - requiring greater allied contributions - remains essential, for any foreseeable future, to the security, prosperity & well-being of:

▪️the US itself

▪️all US allies, in the Euro-Atlantic, Asia-Pacific etc. And many others, in those regions & beyond /4.

There’s no alternative. Not China. Nothing.

Except chaos. In a nuclear-armed world, facing environmental breakdown & public health crisis.

So @EmmanuelMacron @OlafScholz/ @ArminLaschet @BorisJohnson & Co. should check in with @JoeBiden.

Time’s running out. /5. End

P.S. Digital transformation, & US leadership in tech/its exploitation, is a necessary condition of continued US/allied global dominance. Contrary to hyperventilating commentary from political tech amateurs & some genuine tech leaders, that’s very doable. The issue is: doing it.
