@freyntje reminds me ever more of David Irving who once, in Nov 94, pathetically tried to challenge @deborahlipstadt in a debate about his claim that the absence of a written order from the Führer’s hand was a reason to doubt the reality of the #Holocaust. @SinaloCaroline 1/6

Similarly today, @freyntje is doubting the planification of the #GenocideAgainstTheTutsi just because the ICTR did not convict Bagosora of conspiracy to commit genocide (prior to 7 April 1994), thereby simply disregarding available historical evidences of the planification. 2/6

Back then, Irving was ridiculously waiving with 1000$ in his hand for anyone to engage in a debate with him, must’ve been quite a sight! Today @freyntje is waving as much as he can on Twitter to “debate” his historical distortions & manipulations. @gateteviews @SinaloCaroline 3/6

Just like Irving, @freyntje is playing the victimization card, crying about “censorship” and contamination of the academic world.
It’s not about censorship @freyntje, that is neither possible nor wish-able, it is about the minimum required honesty to debate. 4/6

Striking how many of the claims made by @deborahlipstadt against Irving (book Denying the Holocaust) do fit @freyntje like a glove. Misstated evidence; misquoted sources; falsified statistics; misconstrued information; bent historical evidence to serve his own purpose & beliefs

@freyntje joking that he wants to sign the open letter denouncing his own book shows how little regards he has for victims and survivors of the #GenocideAgainstTheTutsi, he thinks it is a game and makes fun of it. @Coll_Quesaisje 6/6
