The record execs seen in this episode are Dante Ross (Elektra), Wendy Goldstein (Geffen), and Tracey Waples (Def Jam). They all worked for labels that would eventually sign Wu solo acts.
The group that goes on after Wu is the Four Horsemen. The same Jamaican group that performed in episode 3 last season. They are a fictional group and not to be confused with The Hrsmn -- a rap supergroup featuring Canibus, Killah Priest, Ras Kass, and Kurupt.
