We’re relocating back to Ireland in February and, much as I love Trim, I’ll miss having Urangan pier in #HerveyBay as my morning walk
It was one of those rare Saturdays where I didn’t get called in to work, so we got to enjoy the local Osprey having breakfast
There are about 10 of these MASSIVE pelicans living on the pier. The locals call them all “Steve” because nobody can tell them apart 😂
Because I didn’t have to work, we were able to take a last-minute boat trip and watch the wildlife
Whales everywhere….
There’s the pier from the sky. All 850m of it. Surrounded by dolphins, turtles and if you have more modest tastes, whiting 😂 Once the borders open, I’d urge anyone who wants a big trip to head down under and visit Hervey Bay. One of the coolest places I’ve ever been
