For political reasons Government ditched Covid mitigation measures in schools. But also delayed vaccinating teens.
Unsurprisingly, that combination caused a massive surge in cases amongst teenagers.
(On the continent cases actually FELL when schools reopened!)
That may not have troubled a Government that sometimes acts like it hates the young.
But the surge then spread into older groups.
Meanwhile, we have also really hashed the roll-out of booster jabs.
Which also seems to be (as you would expect) a material contributor to the rise in the number of Covid cases.
