Yesterday was the last day of the #Zapatista Journey for Life in Ireland.
15 days of meeting activists and campaigners from social movements and communities in struggle around the island.
Tues AM started with a radical walking tour of #Belfast:

Meanwhile our other compañeros had headed to Wales and visited a community energy project near Bethesda
At Corris, Machynlleth they met housing coops and @LandworkersC delegates as well as staff from a critical project for young people in Braich Goch.
In #Merthyr they did a radical history tour with @ValleysUG and heard about the 1831 Merthyr Uprising - one of the first times the red flag was raised as a symbol of working-class power.
On Monday the compas visited radical Cardiff - they had been going to visit the Northern Meadows Campaign camp but the cops had dismantled it the night before and charged some of the activists.
But they still met up in ... another venue!

Here in Ireland, the seeds the Journey of Life planted are settling beneath the soil.
And we're all catching our breath after it - updates when we have them (but we will do a last Ireland thread of pics).
