I’ve been asked and encouraged to host a Menstrual Products donation drive. #Kenora #PeriodEquity #MoonTimeSisters

2/ @fordnation, in partnership with @ShopprsDrugMart, is sending free menstrual products to Ontario students but the initiative excludes on-reserve students. @solmamakwa was up north yesterday where a pack of pads is $21.95 & tampons $17.95. #PeriodEquity

So, from November 1 to 25, I will accept donations of pads, tampons, menstrual cups and cloth pads. I will get the products to Sioux Lookout and fly them to northern remote communities. It cost $12.29 for pads in Pikangikum. #Kenora #PeriodEquity

4/ I’m still working with Moon Time Sisters who is wrapping up a donation drive in southern Ontario and will be shipping items to the far north in the coming weeks. So far, I’ve identified 4 First Nations education staff that will receive and distribute. #Kenora #PeriodEquity

5/ Drop off donations at 180 Jones Rd. If you’re #Kenora business or organization would like to serve as a donation drop-off location, please contact me. #PeriodEquity

6/ I’m also accepting monetary donations by EMT to help with the high shipping cost. I’m very transparent and post receipts. DM for email address. #PeriodEquity #Kenora
