Sedition, a thread👇🏼
So seems most of you missed HJR9005 calling for sedition in the pro-Covid special session. It was sponsored by the Speaker and Rep Ragan ran the bill in committee and on the floor. I’m pretty shocked the press didn’t notice this resolution calling for sedition, but here we are.
I will spare you the entire reading of the seditious resolution and the rant against people who care about their neighbors after it, so here are some excerpts. It’s hard to sedition when you argue revisionist history.🙄
Here @VoteBo wonders if Ragan’s militia is about to ride…
When your own caucus member lets you know your historical example for sedition is completely incorrect. 😬
Then the only active member of the military in the body has to recuse himself from the vote, because, you know, sedition is a conflict of interest.
But hey, the GOP won’t let that stop them from voting for sedition, because they’re mad their guy lost. Not a single GOP voted NO on this bill. A couple voted present & the history corrector must have had to hit the head-he didn’t vote. Not known for their courage these TN GOP.🙄
The full nightmare can be seen here. tnga.granicus.com/MediaPlayer.ph…
