He does this several times a week and it's so unprofessional that Lwj seethes 😤
Right now, Wwx is resting his phone on his shoulder while he types and murmurs "yes, sweetheart" here and there.
He's been on the phone for more than ten minutes and finally he closes with "Of course I love you, bunny, I'll never leave you"
Lwj clenches his teeth
Lwj is half tempted to report this but Wwx is so shameless that he has even answered his phone in front of boss Nie Mingjue and said boss didn't have anything to say so Lwj just takes a deep breath and keeps working.
Unfortunately, he can't say Wwx is bad at his job.
Actually, he's rather brilliant, considerate, has unconventional but incredibly productive solutions and is great at team work. Most people love him.
Maybe because most people don't hear him during his lovey dovey "Oh, sweetheart, I missed your voice so much" breaks 😒
Yesterday he probably did something awful to that oversensitive omega, because he spent almost half an hour soothing them with "Don't cry, baby, I won't cancel again".
Classic Alpha behavior. He obviously uses his delicious smell and perfect looks to ensnare gullible Omegas.
Wwx goes to an hour long meeting and forgets his phone on his desk. It starts ringing and doesn't stop for minutes on end.
Lwj looks at it on the third bout of ringing, wary. It could be important. But if another Omega answers, it could cause problems for Wwx's relationship.
(Of course that's not something Lwj wants, despite the second hand irritation it causes in his life)
The ringing is very insistent, so he decides to answer in case it's actually important.
"Hello?"
"Baba? Where's Baba? 🥺"
Lwj's heart goes on a rollercoaster ride in the next minute, because it's a little kid!🥺 it's not an Omega😏 but a little kid calling Wwx Baba must mean there's an Omega in the picture 🤔 but the little kid is just about to cry 😱 but he sounds so cute and Lwj loves kids 😳
When Wwx's meeting ends he practically runs back to his office all worried, and finds Lwj — the guy who apparently hates his guts—telling a story about bunnies to A-Yuan on the phone.
It's on speaker, so A-Yuan's giggles are clear and wonderful.
Turns out Wwx recently adopted orphan A-Yuan, who is still adjusting and gets really anxious when he doesn't see his father and believes he's gone for good each time Wwx goes to work.
It's been a hard couple of weeks, trying to soothe A-Yuan through the phone.
A-Yuan hasn't laughed even once when they separate, so Wwx is astounded by those giggles. Maybe he'll ask Lwj to marry him then and there.
(Lwj would say yes if he did)
Oh yes, they do. Now that Lwj has ascertained that Wwx is not a classic Alpha player but a caring father, he's ALL IN. Wwx just needs to get with the program!
(RIP Wwx, honestly, bc Lwj is in Full Seducing Mode now, plus ready to be the perfect stepdad)
