Dedicating to @thedivinetales & others tagged who inspired me to write on Brahmcharya. Will cover in 4 parts
1.Why it is important
2. How one loses Brahmcharya
3.Ayurvedic Understanding
4.Tantric Practices to conserve semen (Must read- mentioned in detail) 1/n
Brahmacharya is taken from two words: Brahma, (from brahman), the absolute, eternal, supreme God- and charya, which means "to follow"
Importance:
a)When u indulge in sexual intercourse you loose millions of live sperms- As per Law of Karma you may be reborn as a sperm 2/n
b)Any attachment is a deterrent in spiritual awakening
c)Leads to increase in Vata & weakened Nerves
d)Loss of Agni or Ojas (Aura)
e)Disturbs the Aakash Mahabhoot which irritates the Devas and weakens the Sadhana

How one loses Brahmcharya
As Per Yagyavalakya Smriti, smarana (Thinking), kirtan (talking) , keli(play), prekshana ( look), Guhyabhasana( talking in lonely place), sankalpa(prepare for coitus), adhyavasaya(to attempt), kriya (coitus) these eight are considered as maithuna 4/n
As per Ayurveda Nidra (Sleep), Aahar (Food) and Brahmcharya are the three Upstambhas of Good Health. By Brahmacharya, it means to have regulated intercourse rather than avoidance. Brahmcharya means monogamy and is driven towards healthy progeny and not only recreation. 5/n
Tantric Practices to conserve semen:
We are getting energy (Prana) from environment all the time which enters our Adhipati Marma (Pic) and goes into Sushumna (spinal cord) and then other Nadis. This Prana gets converted into Apana Vayu which we shed off in the form of Semen.6/n
If we can reverse the direction of Apan Vayu we will not loose even a single drop of semen. Hatha Yog comes from 2 words-
ह means Prana and ठ means Apana. Directing ठ towards ह and combining them is Hatha Yoga
Any sexual activity will lead to loss of Apan Vayu 6/n
Tantra:
How can a common man lead Brahmcharya and have Sexual activity-
2 Kriyas-
Shiv Lata Mudra: A married man can practice celibacy and still fulfill his sexual duty towards his wife. He must worship his wife as the cosmic Shakti and she should worship him like Shiva.7/n
Lata means a creeper (no support) and so Shakti needs to entwine around Shiva (The Tree for support) in this Mudra. Since Shakti has emanated from Shiva, she has to give up her own independent character and make an Absolute surrender to Him. When a Man and wife come together 8/n
for Shiva Lata Mudra, she has to sit over Man’s left thigh and hold his penis with her right hand. He must cup her left breast with his right hand. Then Like a creeper she drapes around him clinging him and performing the act while reciting a specific japa. 9/n
The man thinks he is Shiva in the form of Bahirav and the woman thinks her self as Bhairavi. She breathes from her left nostril while the man breathes from his right nostril balancing the Bhootagni and the Jathragni. The Mudra is supposed to done once a month at the right time10/n
There are three types of Shiva Lata Mudra- Mundane, Spiritual and one which is beyond both. Mundane is mentioned; not writing the other too; the thread will become too long.
Vajroli Kriya: to obtain Amritam (Apana Vayu moves upward to reach Pineal gland- Control of Ajna) 11/n
This is a Yogic/Tantric which first requires internal Shodhana (Cleansing) like Neti, Nauli, Viechan & Gajkarni – Basically cleansing all body orifices and internal organs. Once you are clean, then you start sucking water through your Penis/vagina by placing the organ in water.
After water you practice with milk, then ghee and honey. So, your pubococcygeus muscles become so strong that they do no let even a drop of semen come out. Aghoris also do it with purified Mercury. A Vajroli sidh Purush can suck up the vaginal secretions of a woman and 11/n
take her entire Ojas even reducing her life span by 10 years and the same goes for a Vajroli Siddh woman. So ideally such Purush should only procreate with a Vajroli Siddh Woman where the Apan vayu exchange benefits each other in their siddhi towards being a Shiva & Shakti 12/n
Through this power a man can bring his Apan Vayu till his third eye and create an Anubadh with Pran Vayu. It is like you are taking Prana (energy) from the environment but you are not giving out anything leading to a storehouse of energy within you. 13/n
However the same needs to be done in the presence of a Guru otherwise may cause Kundalini syndrome.
