“Naughty Lazy Genius.” Woman. Not ‘cis’, not a ‘TERF’. Stop coming up with excuses to defend the castration of children. #NotShuttingUp

Women are constantly explaining why we need women-only spaces, often sharing traumatic experiences.

So how do the men do it? What arguments do they put forward to retain men-only spaces?

1. Just say you took a vote on it and it didn't pass

2. Say men-only spaces are not against the law.

3. Say the request is based on "fallacious reasoning" followed by some unintelligible gobbledygook.

4. Say the women members you'd get would be women you wouldn't want (clearly the women you'd want would never want to become members).

5. Say the men-only space is the only place you can get away from bossy women.

6. Refuse an inquiry or survey because it would be a waste of money.

7. Accuse the women wanting to join of envy and jealousy.

8. Appeal to the established order of things.

9. Tell the women not to worry about being excluded from vital networking opportunities because no networking happens on the premises.

10. It's not an Old Boys' Club, it's an old people's home with wine.

Point 1 again. I think we should give this a try.

11. Publicly reject a very famous and beloved woman. That should put other women off from even trying.

12. Just don't bother responding at all.

Starting to detect a pattern here.

13. Don't install women's facilities.

14. Make sure people don't know you exist.

15. Use those non-existing networking opportunities to get a parliamentary committee to back you up.

16. Lie.

17. Tell people they should just butt out.

18. Accuse your opponents of political correctness.

19. Appeal to market forces.

20. Allow them in but given them shitty slots.

21. Allow them in but with restricted access.

I see quite some points where we can take inspiration from the men 😍

Fun fact to end this thread: Bruce Jenner continued to be a member of the exclusive men-only exclusive Sherwood Country Club after changing his name to Caitlyn. They did build him a special bathroom though🥰okmagazine.com/photos/caitlyn…
