Current thoughts with regards to my FPL team, I will cover:

Review of team

1 transfer - Bachmann in for Foster
GW17 - 48 points
Captain scored - Salah (16 returns in 17 GWs)
Overall rank - 14K🔻

What a horrible week- no GK playing & multiple players being out due to COVID. I have had a steep fall, but hopefully I can recover from this

MCY - 58%
CHE - 50%
AVL - 42%

Upcoming fixture ease

▪️ASTON VILLA

After a convincing away win midweek vs Norwich, the team are showing good form under Steven Gerrard. They have many great value players you can invest in (Cash, Targett, Watkins), especially with their favourable run of games ahead.

▪️ARSENAL

They have been in impressive form of late. With their upcoming games against Leeds, Norwich and Wolves, they are a team that should continue scoring goals and keeping clean sheets. Tierney, ESR, Martinelli and Lacazette are all players that are worth consideration.

Postponements and advice

The next GW has had 5 games called off already, the likelihood of more games being cancelled is high. I would suggest delaying transfers until Saturday morning to have the most current information at hand before finalising decisions on your teams.

Players to target

▪️DEFENDER

Tierney (4.7) [ARS]:
- First choice left back when fit
- Very attacking down the left-hand side
- 3 clean sheets and 2 assists in the last 3 games for Arsenal
- 6 clean sheets in total
- Only 5% owned

▪️MIDFIELDER

Foden (8.1) [MCY]:
- hugely influential in the 7-0 drubbing of Leeds
- scored & assisted in the last game and could have got more.
- 4 goals & 4 assists overall this season
- 9 starts, 25 shots, 5 big chances, xG 3.8 and xA 4.24
- only 7% owned

▪️STRIKER

Watkins (7.7)[AST]
- Now the main striker at Aston Villa
- Favourable games ahead and is in great form too
- Scored and assisted in the last GW
- Has returned 7 times overall this season
- Only 11.1% owned

Preview of my Team

My team has been annihilated by postponements and cancellations recently. My plan is to transfer in at least two players this week - Watkins & Foden for Vardy & Normann. This will still only leave me with 8 players starting. Damage limitation comes to mind!
