Do you like to do thought experiments about the most mundane inner workings of government that may lead you to an interesting discovery of what may have happened on January 6th?
Permit me to demonstrate in this wee 🧵👇🏻
In order to keep order, one must be permitted to stage a protest demonstration around Washington. As these are federal lands, the National Park Service issues permits to groups who want to demonstrate or protest for their cause. There are applications and approvals.
The thing about paper work, is it creates a record. It also tells us the process one might have to go through to get an application approved and by whom. For the purposes of this thread, I wanted to understand who had permits to ‘protest’ at the Capitol on Jan 6.
Here’s a link to 91 pgs of documents related to permits issued for Jan 5th, Jan 6th and in one case beyond. It is the guide to use to follow along. A home base if you will. We’re gonna go through it together but when you see Bugs, you’re where you need be. justsecurity.org/wp-content/upl…
On Dec 10, 2020 a permit was approved for the Jericho March to take place on Dec 12th in DC. This March expected 5,000 people and was planned to take place on the Mall, gravel panel 23 and turf panel 22. This was a prayer gathering for election security. nps.gov/aboutus/foia/u…
The Jericho March included Ali Alexander, Mike Flynn and many other speakers who would also speak at the Freedom Plaza on January 5th. You know, the night before the tourist visit. Mike Flynn gives a brief overview of what Jericho is by saying it’s in our hearts. 👀 at pic 2.
Destroy it completely? Yikes.
The permit for The Jericho March had two men listed as a Person in Charge on the permit, one is a guy named Rob Weaver, the other is Stephen Brown. Brown is also listed as the production manager. Here is that permit. nps.gov/aboutus/foia/u…
On or about Dec 12, 2020 (same day as Jericho March), a series of new permit applications (see Bugs 91 Pgs👆🏻) were making their way through various agencies for threat assessments. Agencies like United States Capitol Police’s Intelligence and Interagency Coordination Division.
These were permit applications for use of specific areas for January 5th and January 6th and some extending further past Jan 6. We see from this USCP permit doc that ‘Grassy Area 8’ was designated for One Nation Under God to have 50 people praying.
Remember Stephen Brown from the Jericho March? That’s his name on the permit for One Nation Under God to have their prayer rally take place at the Capitol on Jan 6th. He is listed as ‘Spokesperson’ on the permit. Let’s see what the spokesperson said.
I’m sure he meant Mo Brooks (not Mel) and Andy Biggs had confirmed to be at this rally at the Capitol. Well that’s interesting because also slated to appear was Ali Alexander. Remember Alexander said he ‘schemed’ up Jan 6 with Gosar, Brooks and Biggs? MTG, Boebert listed too.
You will see the final threat assessment made by USCP was that it was ‘Highly Improbable’ that any shenanigans would pop up off. These 50 people were there to pray for our election security, as one nation under god.
As we look a bit deeper into the One Nation Under God application and see the sponsor of the event is a man named Bryan Lewis. Bryan Lewis has just been subpoenaed by the janu6cmte. Here is that subpoena. january6th.house.gov/sites/democrat…
Bryan Lewis had a permit for demonstration on January 6th too. His was located at ‘Grassy Area 9’. The purpose of his event was to encourage Congress to nullify electoral votes from states that made illegal changes to voting rules during their elections.
Lewis’ permit was for 50 people too. The threat assessment from USCP was ‘Remote’. The least likely designation for things to kick off. A 1-5% chance of USCP needing to intervene to break up violence.
Another permit was for Jo Reitkopp and Chris Steinbrunn’s ‘Jesus Lives’. Again, the number of participants was 50. This was in ‘Area 1’ on Jan 5th and ‘Area 15’ on Jan 6th. The ‘Jesus Lives’ group was there to pray and blow a shofar, listen to pastors and Christian music.
The USCP again assessed the likelihood of anything happening as a result of 50 Jesus Lives people praying to be ‘Remote’.
In ‘Grassy Area 11’ on January 6th was a group of again 50 participants called Rock Ministries International. The spokesman was Belton Platt and the on site coordinator was Mashandia Platt. They were there to pray for this nation and to pray for our future leaders.
Rock Ministries International was given the ‘Remote’ assessment from USCP as well. Again, peaceful people praying for our nation at the seat of our democracy. Nothing to be too concerned about. Right?
Women for a Great America / 50+ Days of Blessing was permitted to be on ‘Area 10’ for January 6th through January 10th. Not quite 50 days, but they had the ground under permit for those days. Andrea Lafferty and Hannah Bunn were listed on the permit.
The purpose of the event on January 6th was first amendment platform- prayer and worship for our nation. The USCP assessed the threat level as ‘Highly Improbable’ and ‘Remote’.
Finally, there was another permit for that day for ‘Area 7’ and was given to Virginia Freedom Keepers Marsha Lessard and Christina Skaggs. This was a rally for Health Freedom. Health? Freedom? Where have we heard that before?
50 people speaking about health and freedom didn’t raise any concerns with the USCP as this group was awarded the ‘Highly Improbable’ threat assessment.
Let’s pause here for a moment and recap what we have. 4 groups of the Christian faith, 1 guy subpoenaed by the January 6th committee, and 1 group of Health and Freedom demonstrators totaling 250 people. The majority of whom were there to pray, on Jan 6th, during an Insurrection.
Now, remember all of those ‘Areas’ I mentioned? Well they are important because it tells the demonstrators where they can be. So let’s look below at this from the Architect of the Capitol that shows us the Area’s. I’ve used the color purple to show Jan 6 permitted locations.
It kind of looks like they had the place surrounded doesn’t it? I can imagine a lot of prayers were prayed when the mob stormed up from the Ellipse. Or when the Proudboys marched from the Washington Monument. Or when the Oathkeepers stack took shape.
Seeing it like this makes it feel like there was some coordination to it all. By the time the speech at the Ellipse had ended, the Capitol was already poised to have 250 people present and the USCP had assessed no threat. Was this a means of lowering defenses?
I ask again, was this a strategic plan to use Christians to lower the defenses of the United States Capitol Police on the day the election was certified to create a soft resistance to an insurrectionist mob angry that those in the Capitol were certifying fraud?
Oh well, I’m sure it’s nothing…until you remember this.
When putting together the pieces, we need to look at all of them. This is an emerging image. One the media needs to figure out a way to describe.

UPDATE: Ali Alexander is now suing the @January6thCmte. His complaint references ‘Permits’, ‘One Nation Under God’ and says the committee seeks confidential messages he had with ‘clergy’.
