A year after The Graph Network launch, it's home to 150+ Indexers, 2,300+ Curators & 8,000+ Delegators, weaving a lattice of web3 collaboration.

These contributors are using GRT to provide core data services to dapps.

On The Graph Network’s 1st Birthday, let’s recap the year🧵

Usage of The Graph can be viewed as a proxy for web3 development activity.

Developers building & querying subgraphs have consistently grown ~14% MoM (550% YoY) & accelerated in July with the launch of Subgraph Studio. Looking forward to welcoming the next wave of builders! 👨‍💻👩‍💻

Combined deployed subgraphs on the network & hosted service continue to grow ~15% MoM (282% YoY), with over 31,000 lifetime subgraphs 🌐

Dapps have steadily been migrating subgraphs to the network, fueled by the ethos of decentralization, public APIs & open data accessibility.

Developers are creating subgraphs for a diverse range of uses. DeFi, NFTs & Identity lead the charge on both the hosted service & the network, with increasing demand for network data for L2 chains, & DAO voting.

Name a use case or a dapp you’d like to see using subgraphs! 🌠

Avg. daily query volume on the hosted service has risen to over 1.8 billion queries per day & combined volume on the network & hosted service is growing ~21% MoM (569% YoY) 🤯

Dapps are progressively migrating to the network in waves, prioritizing decentralized infrastructure.

Collectively, queries on the network & hosted service have been accelerating, signifying growing dapp adoption. The web3 movement can’t be stopped.

Over ✨370 billion✨ queries have been made on the hosted service & the network combined in The Graph’s lifetime!

Another perspective: query fees on the network are growing steadily, having eclipsed over 265K GRT in fees on the network to date.

Query fees are dominated by dapps using DeFi, NFT & social subgraphs, though additional use cases are emerging. Any dapp can use these subgraphs!

There are many ways dapps can use subgraph data - whether you’re building a DeFi dapp, a front-end for your DAO, an NFT marketplace, analyzing protocol data or looking to buy the constitution!

The Graph is supporting many core applications in the web3 community today ✨

It’s been an inspiring year for The Graph community 👨‍🚀

The web3 metamorphosis is just beginning & The Graph is here to make building in web3 as easy as possible!

Join the community for another exciting year & stay up to date with the network 🔎
