realized that itzy's year-end performances (mama, kbs gayo, sbs gayo) are all connected so here's a lil thread abt my theory:

itzy, a highly-successful theater act, performed loco first which explains rj's feelings for yj; thus doing a 360 and saved yj, fought men, then shot her boss instead when she was tasked to k!ll yj during their stage. their mitm perf reveals them as another mafia grp..

..that rj infiltrated to k!ll the leader (yj) under the boss' order but fell in love w her instead. in the next perf (kbs gayo) the intro's a bit psychotic&dark = more sinister now that rj's fully in the gang. they're performing mitm infront of a huge ass bldg presumably..

..their hq (also a spoiler for the next perf: sbs gayo casino). during chorus the bg's a semi-burning railroad track (top row pics)=they're otw to plan the next (hot) heist. bg shows "beware of itzy" on the "eojetbamedo u dont even know" part=no one knows they're mafias ofc.

they approach a train station = another phase of their plan. then yj dance break shows lasers (spoiler for sbs gayo cr dance break) +psychotic & dark mood suggests her longing for rj as rj was most prolly in prison this time, hence the 💔 bg in the following loco perf.

in the next perf (sbs gayo), rj stole the key while in an interrogation room in jail, escaped, and started their heist of stealing a necklace (ocean's 8 theme). shoplifted, strip teased, waited, & dealt cards in a casino (mentioned as spoiler before) til cr got the key.

mafia bitches continued their distraction stuff in the casino. yn's iconic "acts better than an actress" verse fooled everyone. yj's "stop hesitating, time for the operation" til lia's verse showed moving lifts at the bg = going down the floor where the vault is.

then cr unlocked the vault & did some avoid-the-laser choreo to steal the necklace. next scene shows her walking out the bldg to meet itzy, then they fled to the woods. however they were caught (sirens) by another rival gang posing as police (bc theyre not in police unif)..

..and held at gunpoint while they performed (😭) sorry not sorry, flaunting their daringness +being unapologetic for what they did. the chased continued til they reach a rooftop but the rivals' chopper (presumably) was already there. towards the end, itzy flicked..

..their wrists when they're abt to be shot, signalling to their backups, then all the gunwomen dropped d3ad (the chopper was actually theirs, it just posed as the rivals'). queens literally ended EVERYONE with a bang
