Council has been Called to Order; roll call has occurred; a prayer; and the pledge of allegiance has been recited.
Public comment is happening.
Reverend Pamela Butts calls upon the legislators to work with the other branches of government to uphold and ensure protection order processes.
Ross Dibello calls upon legislature to pass resolutions to partner with private and non-profit businesses.
Jeremiah Johnson from Ward 3 reflects on Arts & Culture and thanks Council members for their actions on the creation of various committees.
Stephanie M. Goggins provides public comment on CSU Law School's name. She represents CSU law school students who advocate for the removal of John Marshall name from the school due to Marhsall's association with slavery.

The Clerk reads Communications; many of these are Oath of Offices for positions in the new Mayoral administration of Justin Bibb.

There were several introductions by Council President Griffin.
Council Member-Ward 3 Representative Kerry McCormack gives congratulations to the new Mayoral Administration of Justin Bibb, fellow Council Members, and new Council President Griffin.
Council Member-Ward 1 Representative Joseph Jones gives thanks to John James and Paul Arkantell (spelling).
Council Member-Ward 9 Representative Kevin Conwell also give thanks to John James. He sadly shares another young man was killed in his ward and he wants to figure out what is going on. He supports changing school names due to the individuals involvement with slavery.
Cleveland City Council meeting is adjourned at or around 7:50 PM.
