Day 10. In Erbil I tried to find a flying carpet but indeed it is a fairytale. So I flew in a plane to Amman, Jordan. It is the only way to get to Abu Dhabi. I get closer and closer to @ADSWagenda now!

Arrived at the airport at 6am. Went to my hostel and after just 3 hours of sleep I was picked by a taxi for an interview with Sky News Arabia. I always thought these city backdrops are fake. Interesting to learn.

I only have a day here and really want to see the city but I need to arrange a lot of stuff. Tomorrow morning I want to go to Saudi Arabia and need to find transport. So that’ll keep me busy.

Already spotted a few Nissan Leafs in Amman. I once was told a story that the king of Jordan is a huge Tesla fanboy. He imported a few and also is the only individual in the world who has a private Supercharger. Not sure if this story is true.

I found a bus ticket to Hail in Saudi. Google maps tells me it’s a 800km / 9h drive. The nice people tell me that the bus does it in 12-24 hours. That’s a bit of a window. Inshallah.

Another massive impressive city, Amman.

The Amman Citadel is an impressive site that helps tell the story of this region’s layered heritage. the Citadel dominates one of the seven jebels—or hills—that make up the capital city of Jordan.
