1. Use lists

Using Lists is the single most effective tool to change your Twitter experience totally as it cuts out random tweets and focuses more on what you really are looking for.

Let me show you how.

Segregate people you follow into different lists.

For eg, I have a list of "Regular Trade Updates." This focuses on handles that share trades so I can analyze them later.

Some traders I have in this list include-

@Puretechnicals9

2. Mute trolls

• Some handles literally just keep spitting venom throughout their timelines.

• Utterly useless in terms of helping you become better.

• The best is to mute these handles and also a few that don’t provide value.

• I ruthlessly mute and block people.

Can also mute "specific words".

Look how @Atulsingh_asan Sir has muted these words to make his Twitter experience better.

3. Follow Thread Makers

It is impossible to find the best tweets throughout the day/week/month.

Even tougher to segregate them together for easy use/learning.

This is why I love following people who curate threads as they make Twitter a much more enjoyable richer experience.

4. Write Threads yourself

• Writing threads help you have clear and organized thoughts.

• Think of it as a diary which you can look back upon.

• A win-win situation as this is a positive-sum game.

• You provide value to people and get to build your following too.

5. Notification Bell on

• This is a very underrated feature as you can use this to make more money/align your trade with your favorite traders.

• Have a few accounts that share high-accuracy trades? Turn on the notification bell to have the updates in the quickest time.

6. Dm people with specific questions

Many people suck at sending DMS.

Most of the DMS I get are just Hi or something they should use google for.

Narrow down questions as much as possible before asking for help from someone.

For eg, rather than asking how to manage short strangles which is a very broad topic.

Ask instead “On days when one of your options keeps rising in value and the other doesn’t fall” How to manage these types of trades?

7. Have a great pinned tweet

Provide Value in your pinned tweet.

This will gather interest from new followers.

Make a pinned tweet something that is free learning for your followers.

8. Short and Sweet Bio

Make your bio tell people immediately what to expect from your timeline and a little bit about yourself.

For eg, my bio immediately signals that I am an option seller, so people interested in option selling can follow me.
