#TeamTTO Week 7 Indoor wrap THREAD
T&T's Tokyo relay hero Dwight St Hillaire [Kaizen Panthers] kicked off the year with a NCAA DI 7th best 200m time of 21.02 to win the Jim Green Track & Field Invitational

St Hillaire would then join Kentucky teammates Brian Faust, Lance Lang & Kennedy Lightner to drop a World and DI lead 4x400 Relay with a 3:05.01

Jerod Elcock [Abeline Wildcats, Butler CC] had a busy weekend, starting with with a 3rd place 6.71 in the 60m dash at the Wichita State Shocker Prelude on JAN 13. The race put him at the top of the TeamTTO list for the season

Elcock backed that up with a 2nd place 6.72 a day later at the Arkansas Invitational
The Butler squad of Jackson, John, Elcock & Leiba took second in the 4x400 in a NJCAA #2 ranked time of 3:14.50
Elcock is ranked #2 in the 60m as well

Also at the Arkansas Invitational, Safiya John [Kaizen Panthers, Arkansas-Pine Bluff] won the Long Jump with a leap of 6.07m. John was also 5th in the 60mH final with 8.57 and joined Cougars/TTO/UAPB teammate Joanna Rogers, Elam & Medcalf for a 4:02.55 8th place in the 4x400

Joanna Rogers was 12th in the individual 400m in 59-27
Another UAPB multisport athlete Che Roachford [Kaizen] was also on deck, pacing himself to 25th in the 60mH in 9.44, and nailing a 5.72m Long Jump for 17th

At The Badgers B1G Ten Midwest Invite 60m Heat1, Akilah Lewis [Concorde, Minnesota] showed her intentions with a 7.46 for 2nd, ahead of TTO teammate Naomi Campbell [PFNJ, Purdue] who set a new PB of 7.74

Lewis would then shave a tenth and drop a new PB—and a TTO-lead— of 7.36 in the final
Campbell's time was good for 11th overall

At the same event, Kashief King [PFNJ, Illinois] went 34.36 and placed 6th in the men's 300m. He then anchored Robert Williams, Devante Ford, Jason Thormo, to a winning time of 3:13.62 in the 4x400 Relay

Yet another Trini, Leah Bertrand ran the second leg and won the 4x400 relay Section 1 and placed 3rd overall in a time of 3:47.95 for her first collegiate meet

Ohio State senior Eric Harrison won Section 3 in the 300m and his time of 33.65 was 2nd overall and a new PB for the recently minted #TeamTTO sprinter

At the UAB Vulcan Invitational Ayla Stanisclaus [RSS Pheonix] was in a close-fought intra-squad battle in Section 1 of the 60m, placing third in 7.55 behind Alabama teammates Amari Brown (7.49) & Milan Fields (7.52)
Stanisclaus also placed 5th in the 200m in a time of 24.76

Adell Coltrust [Abeline Wildcats, Jackson State] won the men's 60m in 6.91
The day before, at the UAB Blazer Invitational Colthrust's 6.86 was good enough for 11th, and Stanisclaus' 7.66 set her in 9th place

At the Navy vs Princeton meet in Annapolis, Daniel Duncan [Princeton] was fourth in 6.80
Duncan's teammates Ndhlovu (6.77) and Sholars (6.80) were ahead of him in Section 2
In the 200m, Daniel got around everyone except Ibrahim (21.37) posting a time of 21.56 for second

At the Hawkeye Invite, Ianna Roach [Memphis Pioneers, Iowa] threw 13.96m to finish 6th in the women's Shot Put

At the Clemson Invitational Women's 300m Finals Tamia Badal [UCF] was 25th in a time of 41.63. In the 60mH Prelim, Badal posted a 19th-best 8.69, then joined Wright, Defreitas & Barrett on UCF-B in the 4x400 relay to record a 9th placed 3:53.49

At the Commodore Indoor 300m Kadesha Prescott [Concorde, South Florida] ran 40.68 for 7th. She then joined Plummer, Connell and Davila and placed 7th in the women's 4x400 relay in 3:56.94
At the same event, Anya Akili [Kaizen, Tennessee Tech] was 14th in the Long Jump with 5.22m

Men's Long Jump Kelsey Daniel [Kaizen Panthers, New Mexico JC] took all of two jumps to land himself at the top of the NJCAA leaderboard in the Long Jump with a massive 7.74m leap at the Corky Classic. Daniel's new indoor PB is also 9th best in the world indoor list as well

Also at the Corky Classic, Timothy Frederick [Simplex, New Mexico JC] was 18th in the 60m in a time of 7.03 and followed that up with a podium place in the Men's 200m B Section Finals with 21.89 for second

Also at the Corky Classic Camille Lewis [South Plains] was 6th in the 800m with 2:25.59, then ran 8th in the 1000m in 3:20.01
Lewis rounded out the day on third leg with Amaya Phillips, Shenell Tucker & Success Umukoro in 3:55.79 for 10th and a NJCAA 4th-ranked 4x400 relay time

Another South Plains #TeamTTO athlete, Justin Guy [Kaizen] had a 4th best 60mH time of 7.89 in the prelim, but ran 8.25 in the final, which had him in 6th. The prelim time converted from the 3217ft elevation in Lubbock, placed Guy second on the NJCAA LIST with a 7.91@ conversion

Antonia Sealy [FAD, Iowa Western CC] backed up her 9.05 two weeks ago at the Ward Haylett 60mH with a 9.05 4th place finish at the Nebraska Graduate Classic
Sealy also had a Long Jump of 5.17m for 12th and a High Jump of 1.50m from Jan 8. She's ranked 13th in the NJCAA 60mH

Anson Moses opened his Cloud County CC college athletics account with a handy 8.72 run into 8th place at the Nebraska Graduate Classic 60mH final
The Tobago Falcons multisport athlete also had a 1.80m High Jump for 17th

At the Wolverine Invitational two weeks ago, Eastern Michigan graduate student Alisha St Louis [DPAC] won the Triple Jump with 11.31m. This weekend, St Louis was at the Akron Indoor Quad and cleared 10.95m for 5th place

At the Clemson Invitational Iantha Wright [Life] ran 7.50 for 13th in the 60m. That put her on the top of the NAIA list
Wright was 13th in the 200m in 24.42, which put her in 2nd in the NAIA
Wright also ran a NAIA 3rd best 3:56.13 4x400 relay to win the Emory Crossplex Showdown

Also at the Crossplex Showdown, Shikyla Walcott [Simplex, Florida Memorial] had her best ever season opener with a 7.74 to win the 60m final
Walcott's 7.72 in the semi—just shy of a new PB— placed her 11th in the NAIA
In the 200m Walcott ran another opening best of 25.87 for 5th

At the Lions Indoor Invitational Jahi Hernandez [QRC, Columbia] was on the podium twice; first when he did a 50.55 in the 400m, and then another bronze in the 4x400 relay alongside Ostuno, Davey & Addison in a time of 3:25.68
Hernandez went 7.05 for 7th spot in the 60m

At The Art Kaddish Elm City Challenge, Southern Connecticut State-Moore senior, Turner Kelly threw 17.90m for the win in the Men's Shot Put
