Ever since I started to get a large following on Twitter, I have been trying to refrain from dropping lots of alpha irresponsibly…
I am always wary of promoting any small projects, aware of the impact I may have.
Today, however. That’s not going to be the case…
Why? It’s time to introduce you to .@theBakeryDAO.
The BakeryDAO is a cumulative effort by a handful of pastries, that we hope will change the NFT and web 3.0. ecosystem as we know it today.
The magic begins with our website: bakery.fyi
If you look closely, this isn’t just your ordinary website.
Using some web3 trickery, we have integrated accounts into the back end via NFTs.
This allows us to monetize special pages across the website, locked to only members of the BakeryDAO (holders of the NFT)

Once connected with a ETH wallet a user is asked to sign a transaction.
This process initiates the creation of a user on the website, the username being their $ETH address.
After this, users can purchase the BakeryNFT & instantaneously have content for viewing.
NON-MEMBER POV:
This is only required for 1st time visitors. Existing members won’t be bothered with gas for log in, as the signature does not incur a fee & browsing history is used to keep them logged in
The NFTs are also deployed on L2, & refund a percent of gas on each purchase!
MEMBER POV:
After obtaining a membership to the BakeryDAO, users can then customize their account with a profile pic, nickname, and other cool features.
They can also use this ETH wallet to like or comment on posts by the Chef’s.

We can then visit Open Sea, to treasure our newly minted Bakery NFT.
This version features a spinning 3D croissant, which can be transferred to a friend, fractionalized in time, or lent on other markets
This is your unbreakable bond to the content forever produced by the Chef’s
However, it doesn’t end there. Let’s hop in to the BakeryDAO discord and chat with all of the pastries…
After visiting the BakeryDAO Discord, you can type “!unlock” to connect to your wallet holding the NFT and get access to roles which reveal all the channels!
It also works smoothly with the BakeryDAO forum, where pastries can get the latest updates on everything!
This is where we will discuss the recent events, proposals, and projects being built on top of the BakeryDAO 👀

The email can be signed in the private metadata of each NFT, only accessible to the owner.
Members can also head on over to telegram if they’d prefer, simply by visiting a link and connecting your wallet, you’ll get access to the Bakery telegram group, locked by the BakeryDAO NFTs

All of the pastries can then go over to snapshot, an off-chain way of voting with different tokens, to vote or propose changes to the way the BakeryDAO works.
Holders will then be able to vote accordingly.

Furthermore, every item here is a 3D rendered NFT, that when burnt, can prompt shipping information for real life claiming.
While we’re talking about the Metaverse, what if the BakeryDAO acquired LAND in the metaverse?
A Decentraland integration would make it so that only holders of the NFT can go in
It’s hard to even think about all of the possibilities here
Last but not least, we are looking for Chef’s to help us build out the BakeryDAO.
The paywall can be quickly integrated into a variety of different partner websites, each with different parameters to maximize all of the things possible
We even plan to issue special NFTs for…
anyone to become a Chef, & be approved to get their own .bakerydao.eth ENS subdomain to be featured on the website
Chef’s can even add their ETH wallet in the config of the BakeryDAO paywall object on posts to get an instant % of funds on NFTs purchased with their unique links.
This entire model I hope will bring about an interesting synergy that has a powerful combination of crypto-economics & ownership that I can use to write even better content
People who like my content can own it across many platforms & even sell it or transfer it to a best friend
Members of the DAO are inclined to post better content, in hopes that the underlying NFT that grants access increases in value.
They will help me to write content, do research, & note all of the little breadcrumbs while also be incentivized to share my work more than ever before
There are two tiers to the BakeryDAO.
The most important difference between the two is the supply, & expiry.
The BakeryNFT has a 30-day expiry, at a base price of .01 ETH with an unlimited supply (live now)
The BakeryDAO NFT has no expiry with only 2,222 supply (not live)
The higher tiered (no expiry) tokens have governance powers within the ecosystem.
They will also have VIP access to all platforms, (receive future streams of ERC20 tokens bought back and burnt with % of all NFT memberships?), and much more I’ll have to discuss later…
The Chef’s have also come up with a great solution to make sure NFTs are distributed to those that are aligned with the BakeryDAO
We plan to iterate basic conditions to be counted up in a tally system to determine who is worthy of the BakeryDAO NFT
What does this mean?
This is where it gets even more fun… 𝘸𝘩𝘰 𝘭𝘪𝘬𝘦𝘴 𝘢𝘪𝘳𝘥𝘳𝘰𝘱𝘴?
Although the exact details have not been ironed out yet, we intend to allocate a very large portion of the supply of BakeryDAO tokens to early users of the Bakery NFT and all of its integrations.

The timeline for a full rollout of all of this is still unclear, but I hope this initial launch proves that there is much more to NFTs than just an image on an ipfs hash.
