I think I have talked about this before, but I love talking wuxia stuff. WKX uses his hands to fight, he likes to get personal when fighting. If he can grab people by the throat to kill someone he will. Having said that WKX is also + (1/6)
+ a highly skilled swordsman AND someone with excellent manipulation over his fan. Dude learned everything he could with one goal; kill someone as fast as possible. None of the artifice or predictable forms of the other sects' techniques. When he fight he kills. The only (2/6)
+ time his fighting could be considered beautiful & graceful is when he is flirt fighting with ZZS, or when he is proving that he is Zhen Ruyu's son, using his martial arts style, which is all graceful movements.
ZZS on the other hand is very properly trained. His forms (3/6)+
+ are very graceful & he likes to keep his distance when fighting, keeping his advantage in distance. He will throw Baiyi into enemies & have it swing back. And he ONLY draws Baiyi when he plans to kill. We DON'T ever see ZZS kill with his bare hands on the drama. ZZS in (4/6) +
+ many ways is a bit of a traditionalist, when he fight he use forms he learned from Siji; the steps. But he also love to streak across the air at his enemies with Baiyi pointing forward. Siji's style is about speed & flexibility with the sword & body. It is about moving (5/6) +
+ fast with your legs. I think based on the drama, if WKX & ZZS ever for serious about fighting each other WKX would win. Purely b'cos WKX's fighting style is built around killing someone as fast as possible. There is no room for the perfect form, he is unpredictable. (6/6).
