Kitchen thread
Backstory: The contractor used clearance cabinets and attempted to conceal this fact, by hanging the uppers at 26” vice standard 18”. I need to close, and had already stole it, so I let it go.
My kitchen is on a northern wall. In Michigan this means the exterior wall contracts in the winter. Thus, a tile backsplash was not a good idea. So I choose vinyl instead.
Accurate and level grid lines are a must. This product bonds instantly. There is zero room for error. But if you have nerves of steel, it is totally worth it.
Many options.
Measure 17 times, cut once.
Also a direct light source is a good idea. I used a desk lamp with a flood bulb.
