UI/UX interview tips: 7 Questions you should ask an interviewer.

Having a list of questions to ask an interviewer makes you look interested, enthusiastic, and engaged. It also gives you one final chance to further highlight your relevant qualities and experience.

1) What is the product management methodology?

This question will help you understand the method the company is using to ship its product into the market. There are two models which are Agile and waterfall.

2) Who will I be working closely with?

Ask this question to help you understand who you will be collaborating with. It’s important to evaluate how cross-functional the role is.

3) What do the day-to-day responsibilities of the role look like?

Success and happiness in a job boil down to contentment with the nitty-gritty of every day. So Never forget to ask this question.

4) What are the company’s values?

Every company has its values and will love to hire individuals ready to represent these values. You’ll get insight into what is most important for the company as a whole

5) What does success look like in this position, and how do you measure it?

This question will help you to understand the key performance indicators (KPIs) for the role. How, and how often, are they measured.

6) What do you see as the most challenging aspect of this job?

This will help you to understand the scale of the problems you’ll be dealing with so you can prepare your spirit ahead of the journey.

7) Are there opportunities for professional development? If so, what are they?.

When you ask this question, you’re looking to key into whether there are growth opportunities and whether the company has a Learning & Development program. Stagnation is a big red flag!
