This thread is so informative and deserves to be seen by more people so @DiagonalCutters, an absolute angel, translated it all and I will be posting it here.

Finally, thank you @lexis_amonet for investigating, and posting!

@DiagonalCutters @lexis_amonet OK. It will be long & painful, bc there are a lot of stories, I picked only the most significant ones, but this does not make it easier.
So, a thread, for all newcomers to the FS fandom - Why do we dislike Eteri so much and sincerely hope that she will leave this sport. Let's go

She has a lot of muddled confusing stories, involvements with fraud, games with the federation and so on, but I will not talk about her here, but about the athletes for whom she was responsible and is responsible and about their stories.

Because it was on them that she made a name for herself, and many of them are not even known.

Polina Shelepen 07/28/1995
In TeamTut - 2000-2012
Left - 2014

Polina is the first bright athlete of Eteri, she brought her medals and world fame. She was predicted to have a long career and Olympic Games, but the older she got, the harder the training process was.

At 12 and 14, she tried quad jumps in training. In an interview, Polina talked about constant conflicts. “At some point, I realized that I didn’t want to fight anymore. It leads to nowhere.” In the end, she just asked her mother to pick her up.

Polina admitted that the breakup was hard for her because she loved her coach. Eteri in an interview about Polina said that Polina had no sports ambitions and that she had to be forced to do anything. The legendary phrase about the bouquet originated from that interview.

So Polina became the first ungrateful idle lazy person of the "best coach according to the ISU". Polina ended her career due to an injury at the hands of another coach.

Adyan Pitkeev 05/16/1998
TeamTut from 2009 to 2015
Left - 2017

Adyan is known for beating Nathan, Kolyada and Shoma, the current FS tops. However, Adian himself did not have time to reach the "top".

In the 2016 season, he tried to move into ice dancing and even managed to fall in love with it. However, one day in training, his leg simply stopped working. At that moment, he realized that his career in dancing was over for him, never having even begun.

Now Adyan works as a coach for children learning to skate. His back still bothers him to this day.

This is how Adian reached his last Russian Championship. Because in any case it was necessary to skate. As more than one of the students from Eteri said later, no one cares if something hurts, you have to get up and skate well.

Yulia Lipnitskaya 06/5/1998
TeamTut from 2009 to 2015
Left in 2017

The whole world learned about the girl in the red coat at the Olympic Games in Sochi in 2014. The youngest athlete at those games, young hope, phenomenal talent

And this is how the Olympic champion was fed. The fact that Yulia almost died of anorexia, that she was in a clinic in Israel, where she battled long and hard, fans only learned later after Yulia had already finished figure skating. Everyone accused Yulia of betraying her coach.

From the age of 12, Yulia was malnourished, eating powders, her mother was hired by TeamTut to make sure that her daughter "did not pig out". After leaving Eteri, the new coach, Urmanov, was blamed for her poor skates, while Yulia herself was satisfied with working with him

The career of the first Russian Olympic champion ended at the 2017 Rostelecom Cup. Right during the skate, her leg experienced a terrible convulsion, it was so bad that she could not step on it & finished the program without jumping. A flurry of criticism again fell upon Urmanov.

That the convulsions were a consequence of anorexia, very few people knew. Tutberidze herself continued to call Yulia hysterical, lazy, and stubborn. There was talk that Yulia had too high of an opinion of herself. At this time, Yulia was being treated at the clinic.

Reading my tweets back makes me shake in anger. According to Yulia, Tutberidze still likes to go over this in her interviews, even when no one asked about her. It seems "the best coach according to the ISU" is absolutely sure that she did everything right.

Polina Shuboderova 06/20/2002
TeamTut from 2016 to 2017
Officially, Polina's career is not over yet (?), currently she is not performing

Very few people remember Polina, despite the fact that she was friends with Alina Zagitova.

She was praised for her expressiveness and beautiful "lines".

Polina did not have enough time to become a famous figure skater, but her view became the subject of heated debate between fans of Tutberidze's methods and opponents of her methods.
For example, she trained with broken toes bc she was afraid to tell the coaches about it.

Polina said that Eteri’s behavior was inconsistent. Sometimes she would remark that you could skate some more, other times she silently left in the middle of training.

Tutberidze did not give high-profile interviews about Polina Shuboderova. Figure skaters who did not bring her medals did not interest her.

Polina Tsurskaya 07/11/2001
TeamTut from 2013 to 2018
Left in 2019

Polina (yes, already a third Polina) became famous in FS thanks to her stunningly beautiful jumps. No, she did not jump quads, but she literally took off and hovered in the air for a moment

Like many before and after her, Polina managed to "shine" for exactly one season. Until the dreaded puberty phase began abruptly. The girl who was predicted to win the Olympics (yes, people like to give out medals a couple of years before the competition) just disappeared.

After her departure from TeamTut, Tutberidze stated that Polina's problem was in hereditary disease. Where she got this from is unknown to anyone except Tutberidze herself. But most likely, it was a great opportunity to hide injuries. Polina's mother denied Eteri’s claim.

The pressure to win in international competitions and the dynamic between athletes at TeamTut was harsh. Later, this was noted by other skaters who left the Tutberidze group. Usually, they were ridiculed by fans for being weak and jealous of stronger opponents.

So Polina became the next ungrateful sick weakling who "flushed her career down the toilet." Get used to this expression, you will often see it later if you plan to stay in the fandom.

Daria Panenkova 08.12.2002
TeamTut from 2015 to 2018

Dasha was from the same generation of promising juniors as Polina. She was one of the first to complete all the jumps in the second half of the program (it's very difficult).

And Dasha was older than the favorites and was the first to reach puberty. Here is how TeamTut reacted to it. The fact that puberty, growing up and body shape in girls is normal is not known by TeamTut to this day. If you grow up, you need to eat less

One day Dasha could not stand it and left. They spat on her reputation calling her a lazy hysteric. A girl in the prime of puberty. Well, nothing new, old methods.

Nastya was "stylish". Her expression was conveyed in dance, like a hurricane she swept everything out of her way with her frantic energy during her skates, it was like watching a breathtaking film.

Unlike many others, Nastya left without injuries, at least physical ones. Mentally she was a wreck, like Dasha Panenkova. In her own words, one day she just left during training and spent 2-3 weeks in bed.

Leaving for the Academy of Plushenko was again perceived as a sign of weakness and a personal insult. Nastya was called hysterical with allegations of being a girl with whom it was impossible to work.

However, it was not Tutberidze who said these things, but Gleikhengauz. Eteri was busy with a bigger scandal...

Zhenya Medvedeva 11/19/1999
TeamTut from 2007 to 2018
Last competed in 2019

Zhenya was a "performer". She made performances from her numbers, acting out emotions like a real actress on stage. With Zhenya, everyone was sure it would be different.

To be honest, that it would be no different, could have been seen immediately. But with Zhenya, Tutberidze seemed like she was really happy.

Few people were not touched by their hugs after at competitions and how they looked on camera on the bench while waiting for scores. Everyone was so touched that they did not notice…

…the fact that Zhenya just grew up in this system from the age of 6 and adapted to it better. The story with "Zhenya in batter", when she was knocked over on the ice and dragged along by her hands and legs, jokes about “looking like a cow" and so on.

While some were crying from being insulted, Zhenya laughed it off and smiled.

Season 17/18 divided life into before and after. A stress fracture did not help to prepare for the Olympics, her friends/rivals were skating circles around her nearby, they were free of injury, younger, stronger.

Was it really necessary to skate at insignificant starts, when doctors advised to rest and to not skate at all? A cast on her leg and a spinal injury are one of the main contenders for victory in the Olympic season.

It would seem that in 4 years one could learn at least something. But they only learned to collect more "disposable girls" so that they would have someone to choose from later.

The Olympics have become a peak for skaters. Mutual disappointment led to a change of a coach, and then shit went flying. Tutberidze begins to give many interviews, the essence of which is that Zhenya is bad, she betrayed me, ungrateful, self-absorbed.

The phrase about the bouquet comes up again. 💐💐

We won’t discuss how correct it is to reveal personal correspondence to the whole country, but Zhenya herself made it clear several times that she officially formalized her departure...

... that she didn’t say phrases about Alina and she left not because of the Olympic Games, but for reasons that she doesn’t want to voice.

Anyways it’s important to take into account the fact that Eteri does not work with adults, snippets of conversations may roughly add up a picture of why Zhenya departed. How much you can believe these snippets - decide for yourself.

But remember that EVERY ETERI interview is an attempt to whitewash your faves.

In that same year of 2018, a girl returns to Tutberidze, who already trained with her as a child, but went to the same Orser, to whom Zhenya left to. Irony is a heartless bitch.

Elizabeth Tursynbayeva 02/14/2000
TeamTut from 2012 to 2013, and from 2018 to 2019
Left in 2021

Elizabeth is a Kazakh athlete. She is very short and built like a 13-year-old girl, despite being 19 years old. Tutberidze rushes to prove...

…that she can train not just children and begins to coach Eliza to get a quad jump. She wants to make history, and at the same time prove to Orser and Zhenya that they cannot compete with her.

Eliza fights for this quad the whole season, so that she can become the first adult with a quad at the World Championships.

Eliza triumphs, the media composes songs, Kazakhstan unanimously thanks Eteri for Eliza's victory, TeamTut bots laugh at Zhenya.

Eteri joyfully talks about how great oriental athletes are for figure skating. They aren’t talkative, are still good at listening to adults, and are also short.

To continue on her path to success, Eliza works towards a new quad, it is immediately posted on Instagram, so that rivals would be afraid, and that friends would envy. And then Eliza suffers an injury.

Eliza's last skate was in Shanghai. Why this was done is still not clear, she skated through pain, barely jumping double jumps. Since then, the first adult skater with a quad has been skating only in shows. TeamTut did not comment on Eliza's injury. Whatever happens happens

Alena Kanysheva 06/15/2005
TeamTut for several months of 2019
Moved to dance in 2020
Left (?) in 2021

Alena's case was just a spit in the face of all the figure skating from Tutberidze. The girl who everyone fell in love with as “The Snow Maiden” "burned out" in 3 months.

Alena's story was exactly like Eliza's, only without a whole season. Quad posted on instagram, managed to do a bunch of test skates and then disappeared from everyone’s radar.

Injury incompatible with jumping. Alena was switched to dancing. Lure, kill, and throw away. It even sounds cruel.

The comment on Alena’s situation was basically "Well, she already came to us with an injury, she was already broken, it wasn’t on us."

Why an athlete with an injury trained quads and skated test skates with absolutely no problems, and only after that the injury appeared is a mystery.

Alina Zagitova 05/18/2002
TeamTut since 2015 - until now
Last competition in 2019

Alina became the next "girl in red" after Yulia, only the coat was replaced by a tutu. She came to TeamTut already "ready", with all the triple jumps (except for the triple axel) and...

With the most valuable assets without triple axels/quads.

Having marinated Alina a little after breaking her arm and leg, Eteri "had mercy" and took her into her group. I think the bouquet💐worked, with which they came to say goodbye

The victories started pouring in. Worlds, Grand Prix, Russian Championship, European Championship, Olympics. Alina beat everyone and everything, even the famous "Zagitova's law" (about the exclusion of transferring all jumps to the second half) was rather pleasantly flattering...

... because even without it no one could get even close to Alina. Well, that is in the first seniors season…

And then Alina began to grow. And the more mature she looked, the worse her condition became, she staggered, she was hitting puberty, but the training load was not reduced. Rika was tearing everyone to shreds, Liza returned, and Alina was being demanded to win at any cost.

Then a leg injury, breakdowns at the Russian Championships, silver at European Championships

Eteri is not shy in interviews at all. She contradicts herself from time to time. Weak Alina, who for some reason did not want to work hard for 12 hours on ice. Stubborn Alina, who was forced to sign disclosures & dragged to the skating rink. Lazy Alina, who won the World Cup.

In the same interview above, Eteri says that Alina’s "I'm Leaving" was staged on purpose. The media was talking about how Alina wanted "To put an end to her career."

About how Alina herself wanted to put an end to it, the fact that she asked Plushenko and Lambiel about how they could "skate for such a long time" speaks for itself. She DID NOT want to leave.

The season was nerve-wracking and inconsistent. Sometimes Alina skated like she did in her prime, sometimes she fell on the most basic elements. Alina became Zhenya.

An adult, but injured, against young and (almost) healthy girls, with more complex programs. And then there was the Grand Prix Final

Alina performed her Short Program perfectly, losing only to Kostornaya. One can only guess what happened before the Free Skate, but when Alina went on the ice, her fans realized that something was wrong.

And they were right. Alina seemed not to be on the ice. She shattered her hip and was holding back tears.

And then an apology to the gala with tears in her eyes, an interview on Channel 1 about her "skating pause" And endless thanks to the "best coach", interspersed with self-abasement.

Alina is still skating at Eteri’s school, from her contracts the school gets large sums of money which suits Eteri’s wishes.

Danchik is a small (well, really small) lively kid w/ very cool spins. Until now, he is the champion of the Junior’s Worlds. For some time now he began to suffer from the same disease as Tsurskaya

Osgood-Schlatter Syndrome is a common occurrence in children's figure skating, due to stress on the knees while learning to jump. Accompanied by pain in the knees, even with normal walking. Danchik, according to Shvetsky (yes, the same one), developed the disease due to…

....intense workouts and joint problems. At the moment, his sports career is suspended. This season, the skater did not come out, although he was declared to participate in tournaments

Daria Usacheva 05/22/2006

Last skate in October 2021

Dasha is a real "lady" in FS. Beautiful flexible hands, well-maintained positions, solid skating skills. The real "Tutberidze girl". If not a single "but". Between the…

... three girls of Valieva, Usacheva, Khromykha... Dasha Usacheva is the weakest. Dasha has not yet managed to learn a single ultra-C element, every skate journalists watchi would say “without an Ultra-C element you won’t win”.

And Dasha wanted to win. So she started fighting for a triple axel. How long she fought for a 3A is unknown, but it is known what the consequences of this was for her. When she was skating in Japan, during the push into the air, Dasha's ligament was torn off.

She stumbled off the ice in tears, trying not to move her leg. She could not walk, she had to be carried.

And then the excuses began. The TeamTut choreographer said that Dasha herself was to blame, she overdid it while she was learning her 3A. What does overdo it means – it is unknown.

It is not clear where the coaches were at that moment. It is only clear that Dasha arrived from Japan in a wheelchair.

Dasha's exact diagnosis has not yet been made public either, but I'm leaning toward a trochanteric fracture, which was initially suggested. In short, the ligament came off with a piece of bone. And in order for the bone to come off, it must be weakened. For example inflammation.

And the inflammation does not suddenly appear in a day, or even a week. This is a long and painful process. A process which her coaches should HAVE KNOWN ABOUT. And so the exact diagnosis is still "in the gray area."

And with this injury, Dasha was taken to skate programs in Japan. For the sake of a medal. Remember, this was for the sake of a medal.

The "best coach according to the ISU" did not have any reaction to this situation. In a post on Instagram they put the usual #WorkOn, which was deleted after people were indignant at the ruthlessness of TeamTut.

"Of course we sympathize," they mumbled after a while. Subject was closed.

Alyona. My personal pain A girl who flew on the ice, whose gliding was taken as a standard at all judicial meetings. A girl on whom they wiped their feet on like a rag

Like most everyone in this thread, Alena came to Eteri as a ready-made athlete. They made sure she was consistent, gave her a program, and sent her to skate.

From the very first skate, she was noticed. Her skating was very feminine and in the first junior season she took the bronze at the Russian Championships.

However, this does not prevent SOMEONE from telling her that her rightful place is in the twenties. She's averagely mediocre. That without an Ultra-C element no one needs her.

2 seasons Alena disputes this opinion, bypasses girls with quads with clean programs, gets a world record for the highest junior short program score.

But in 2019, right before Junior Worlds, she was diagnosed with a stress fracture. It turns out that Alena had problems with her leg all season (but the coaches pretended that they were nothing), and now the pressure on the bone caused a full break. Alena misses the JWC.

Alena went to TeamTut for victories and did not hesitate to talk about it. Therefore, in her first senior season, she bursts out with a 3A. And so begins, guess what, right, a series of victories. She sets world record after world record, collects every gold in the competition.

With each start, her diving gliding is getting worse. At the European Championships, she grabs her back after her skate, after falling on the show, her back does not seem to bend at all.

However, Covid arrived just in time and all the skaters finally got to rest. Perhaps this is the only thing that stopped Alena's back from fully breaking.

And this is where things suddenly escalate. After the training camp, outside the transfer time, Alena changes her coach.

Considering that Trusova had left her coach before her with just as big of a bang (compared to a slammed door), Eteri is so torn up that she rolls out an Instagram post about ungrateful students

What this had to do with Yulia and Zhenya no one understood. Alena denied Eteri’s claims, saying that she asked to separate children and adult athletes, who cannot train at the same intensity. But the waves of shit from TeamTut bots were already unstoppable

Anyway, according to Alena herself, she was ready for this, taught by the experience of other girls. She begins to ride for the Angels of Plushenko, struggling with puberty, old injuries and a new environment.

Everything is hard. She grows even more during the pandemic, the 3A is not coming along, the Eteri bots do not stop

A HORRIBLE incident happens at the Rostelecom Cup. The frenzied fans of Tutberidze after the performance of Alena begin to yell out loud "*** the first girl, *** was better." All this time Alena listens to this and tries to smile.

And then covid. Then purulent tonsillitis. Missing the Russian Championships. By the Russian Cup Finals, Alena only managed to restore her triples, but skating at that level still comes hard.

Just to get up from the couch, she has to grab the coach's hand "After today, there will be no tomorrow" Alena returns to TeamTut

However, they are in no hurry to take back the former student. "We didn’t decide yet" writes Gleikhengauz in Instagram stories.

She is forced to go and humiliate herself on television. There she talks for 10 minutes how she was in the wrong, how TeamTut was right. Eteri is satisfied.

A period of probation. Leapfrogging with the programs right in the middle of the season. After skating in France on National Coaches Day, Alena writes a post with gratitude to TeamTut.

"We don't need her gratitude," Gleich replies. "Her number of skates does not match the rest, Alena is a swindler.”

Right before the Russian Championship, Alena falls and breaks her arm. Complex fracture, long recovery, a cast. Risk of loss of mobility of the hand and risk of surgery.
"Overworked somewhere in training," says Laishev.

"She could’ve skated with such an injury, these are missed opportunities. I'm offended," says Tutberidze

Alena dealt with a lot, and unfortunately this season TeamTut clearly took revenge on her for leaving in the past.

It is worth remembering how she was presented in Canada by their decree🙂 not as a "European Champion", but "I returned from Angels of Plushenko and asked to come back" 🤡

Kamila Valieva 06/24/2006
TeamTut since 2018 until now
Participates in Olympics 2022

‘Young Acrobat on a Ball’ admired by Picasso's granddaughter herself. Angel of Russia. Figure skating genius.

The fact that Kamila was going to the Olympics was already known 3 years ago, she was a "project" in which a lot of time and effort had been invested. At some point she was everywhere. TeamTut found a new muse and wanted to get as much as possible out of her.

They began to organize contracts and sponsors for her, from the novices they sent her to international shows, so that by the time she entered the juniors everyone would already know about her

The plan was a success, Kami knows everything, whether she want to or not

She beats all the previous records, breaks brand new records, collects all the titles, as it should be for a TeamTut junior who has just graduated to seniors.

"I don't know what I'm skating," she says about her bolero, "I think Tutberidze herself is skating through me"

Olympics. Complete triumph.

And then all hell breaks loose. Positive doping test, her reputation dying at the lightning speed of the spreading rumors.

I don't know if there was doping or not. I know that a 15-year-old girl hid her face from dozens of cameras with her hood. Alone.

"I don't comment on rumors," Eteri says when asked about the situation

I killed my whole night and all my mental strength for this. Perhaps, if I have the strength, I will add something later. Maybe add Sasha and Anya. I omitted a lot or forgot to mention stuff because of fatigue, but I hope I conveyed the essence of what’s been going on.

Once again, thank you @lexis_amonet for the wonderful thread. If there are any updates, we will try to translate and update as soon as possible!
