New Brunswick reporter on the ground here in Ottawa with an update thread. Police are again handing out letters to those part of the convoy.

In front of the Senate building there are more police and a new fence.

One of the trucks from #NB has now moved to horizontally block Elgin and Wellington Streets.

BUT one of the #NB truckers appears to have left! Don’t see this truck from Grand Manan anymore. It was here as of 4 p.m. yesterday.

And the cops handing out fliers are getting pushed out, it appears, by protesters.

It’s a new, but not totally different letter from yesterday:

The guys from Grand Manan actually haven’t left. They just got a way closer spot to Parliament. They moved up a block overnight, with trucks parked a lot closer together.

No one is in the truck right now. I’ll come back later to talk. #NB

New really big flag next to the wrecking ball truck adjacent to the pm’s office.

There’s also a new fence lining Parliament Hill.

There’s a police car also now ensuring the way to West Block as MPs arrive.
I’m going to go inside now as Prime Minister Justin Trudeau delivers an address inside the House of Commons as to why invoking the Emergencies Act was necessary. 11 a.m. AT.
