As police escalate their numbers in the downtown- they so far don’t have a presence at the supply camp on Coventry Rd- near the baseball stadium. There are families with children staying at this site. Thread on what’s there…

There are several large tents. One houses a large dining space equipped with half a dozen bbqs. There are volunteer cooks

Two saunas right now. Temperatures have dipped to -30 C at start of the occupation more than three weeks ago.

A blue heated trailer that houses men and women’s toilets-then a cluster of port-a-potties.

This is a soup / snack and coffee shack. It was initially down on Confederation Park by Parliament- but was moved to Coventry Rd after police dismantled the Confederation camp beside the Rideau Canal

There are heavy trucks here. The parking lot fills up at night when protesters return from their standoff downtown in the evenings

Main gateway to the camp. There doesn’t seem to be a de factor “lead coordinator” here but there is always a group of people gathered at the front eyeballing people who walk in.

Here is how the protesters greeted police yesterday when they showed up to hand out warnings about charges and arrest. Police couldn’t get past the front entrance

This parking lot owned by the owners of the Ottawa Titans baseball stadium was only supposed to be used for one weekend for overflow parking to relieve congestion downtown. Protesters have been her for 21 days and don’t show signs of moving -30-
