❌A tree has fallen on the line near Maidstone West, so the Medway Valley Line is now fully closed because of this and planned engineering work.
👷Response staff are en route to work to clear the tree.

👷 Staff are currently working to remove the fallen tree from the Maidstone East Line as quickly as possible.
❌ The Medway Valley Line is likely to be closed for the rest of the day because of the tree on the line at Maidstone West.

✅ The Maidstone East Line has now been reopened after the tree fell at Charing. Trains will be able to run again but are disrupted after the earlier line blockage.
