The Portland mass shooter has been identified as Ben Smith,44, who has a history of violence and has vocally talked about killing Antifa and BLM protesters in the past. He became more radicalized over the last 2 years and is a fan of Andy Ngo.

Ben Smith IS NOT A HOMEOWNER & the killing WAS politically motivated. He is a part of the #furry community which has a history of alt-right ties. Furrys fall all across the political spectrum though. Reports that he sells ghost guns & is a gun fanatic.

Portland Police made definitive statements about the #PortlandMassShooter that weren't important details but make the shooter look less culpable. That he was a home owner and he didn't have political affiliations. Both of these are wrong.

There have been two mass shootings by #AndyNgo followers. Andy tweeted video of a small security group, calling them extremists. Within a week Ben Smith was calling them terrorists and shooting those Andy demonized. Now Andy is sticking up for the shooter.

Portland Police were notified about Ben Smith previously by people that felt Smith would murder someone. Did Portland Police do anything?

Ben Smith has been charged with Murder 2, attempted murder 1 with a firearm (x4), assault with a firearm (x4), but still not booked. Person that shot Ben Smith back had charges dropped because video showed clear self defense.

Portland Police claim they didn't make a conclusion about whether Ben Smith had political affiliations. @shanedkavanaugh wrote that "a source knowledgeable of the investigation, said Smith didn't have immediate apparent ties to political group." Can you clarify Shane?

Only valid reason PPB would withhold name of Mass shooter, Ben Smith for 3 days was because they wanted to be able to notify next of kin first if he died. That rationale obviously isn't why because he is still in critical condition. In presser PPB didn't answer
