1. The next president of Nigeria should be someone that can stand shoulder to shoulder with Putin, Macron & Xi. The trio are shaping “World Agenda” at the moment. Think beyond going to every summit organized by every mushroom EU country. Rather, think strategy & benefits to 9ja.

2. What is Nigeria’s Foreign Policy Direction nowadays? What is her body language in the ever dynamic International political arena?

How do America, France, China, Germany, Big West or EuroAsia more elaborately, how do they view Nigeria under President Muhammadu Buhari’s watch?

3. Nigeria’s Foreign Policy Direction has been abysmally in 7+ years. Power struggle among the Superpowers divided America & the West. So think opportunity.

Is Nigeria taking advantage of this Russia-Ukraine Crisis & advancing the Nigeria Agenda?

4. The world is divided into alliances & pacts. It will take a highly skilled craftsman or woman to pull this off.

Akuwunmi Adesina, Peter Obi, Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, Kingsley Moghalu, Chukwuka Monye are the few names that readily comes to my mind.

5. Every strife, every hostility, presents opportunities. Nigeria shouldn’t be found moping. Neutrality shouldn’t mean aloofness. Nigeria should re-engineer & rework its Foreign Policy Direction through repositioning its Trade Deals.

6. Nigeria may not be a superpower & she don’t really have much chip to bargain with, but she can invent the “will” somehow. With careful reworking & craftsmanship, Nigeria can negotiate better Trade deals in the areas of Energy Supply, Gas Investments, Military & Defense.

7. Obasanjo would have been vocal & writing letters to Putin, Biden & to NATO. He would have carried the Moral Burden on behalf of the rest of Africa on his shoulders. He would have been talking with the AU. OBJ would have driven a robust response to Putin through the AU.

8. Obasanjo was his own man. He knew how to work the system & get things done. I am yet to see any landmark achievement by the Buhari led Government in the areas of international diplomacy & advancing the Nigeria Agenda. Geoffrey Onyeoma is good, but not that good. I may be wrong
