Ok, didja catch that quote? "when there was nothing left of the Equinoxes". They'd been consumed. What is the Precedent and when was it set? We might need to find an Elephant's Child asking the right questions.
By the time I get the next part out (I'm going to bed now), equinox will be over or nearly over for a lot of the world. That's ok. There will be more equinoxes. But now the celebrations are going on around the world & they are affecting me. I need to float away & find peace.
