Manmade climate change is improving climates, even at low latitudes.

We could plausibly get at most another 1°C or so (before shortage of fossil fuels causes CO2 levels to plateau). That, too, would be improvement.

The plain English definition of "warming" implies it's compared to current temperature, but activists instead compare to the LIA.
