This is my thread on the 1921 -1922 Malabar Genocide is also known quite disparagingly as the Malabar rebellion it was not a Rebellion it was the starting template of what would happen in Bengal, Punjab, and later on in Kashmir

HOME DEPARTMENT (JUDICIAL), G. O. NO 1310,
DATED 9TH JUNE 1919
Letter from J. F. HALL, Esq. ICS,
District Magistrate of Malabar,
to the Secretary to Government,
Home Judicial Department, Dated 25th April 1919
I have the honor to submit my report on the mapilla outbreak which occurred in Walloowanaad and
Ernaad taluks on the 7th February 1919
The Story of the Outbreak
1. In the amsam of Mankada-Pallipuram in Walloo¬
wanaad taluk and close to the Kadahendipuzha river
where it skirts the northern boundary of the amsam
there is a group of Nambudri houses. Amongst these
are Payapalli illom,
Velutha Mana and Katakot Mom.
These Moms are situated close together connected by
small paths in the midst of the rough country. From the
temple attached to the KatakotMom, a path leads down
to the river. About a quarter of a mile up-stream from
the place where this path meets
the river is the Methrakoil temple situated on the bank high above the river.
From the temple, a flight of steps leads down to the
river
the above was excerpts of a outbreak that happened just 2 years prior to the 1921-22 genocide

look at this please read the highlighted area
original map used in the Government report on the genocide
the next section shall be covered by excerpts from the Offical report by the Malabar and Madras Government on the 1921-22 genocide
covering early history
as you can see that there were numerous previous outbrakes of violence so much so that the brits are arguing for better road and Railway connectivity there in Malabar
here you can see that it was the open support that the Indian National Congress had given to the Khilafat movement that even the Brits see as the start of the 21-22 genocide
sorry for the haphazard way of highlighting it but look at the points of the manjree Khilafat conference then to Librandus were the curse of Hindus look at who was the President of the conference my forefathers lost their lives for some idiot in turkey
look at the words used in this passage from the official report it clearly states that the pamphlets used had no words of Nonviolence
MDKCG and SHAQUAT ALI is described as Apostles of the Khilafat movement and look at the Number of Hindus in name who supported the foundations of the Genocide
intelligence had been notifying something big since 4th May 1920 do see the pattern here a similar set of patterns were followed in 1947 1984 1990 i shall post the rest also
a member of the LC was forced to resign from the post by his quom ???
look a the clouds that gathered the Politics that was played i the background "Bahichara"
Please Note the Highlighted Potion in which it is noted that Malabar is a tinderbox and the Khilafat Movement has taken on a Religious connotation this was noted on the 17th of August 1921
The British were involved in the Malabar war Knives act of 1854 to try to confiscate the knives that would be the Image on the right called the Mapila sorwd
the rebellion first seems to have hit nilambur first just like in Kashmir in the 1990s's we can see a tendency to robe
the pattern is so common please see the highlighted part
there was conscription of men for the genocide
the ASI says that there was a total of 2000 armed men Collected look at their uniform description that the officer gives
The Rebellion starts on the 20th of August 1921 this Sub thread will contain the summary of the Genocide on a monthly basis
seems like the terrorist did not like the Ghorkas
