Today is world Idli day. So sharing my idli collection :)
1. The legendary Brahmin's coffee bar, Shankarapuram.
2. Singularly amazing Shree idli corner, Veerapillai street.
3. Murugan idli shop, on the highway towards Madras. Between Wallajahpet and Sriperumbudur.
4. Chikkanna Tiffin Room, Cubbonpet.
5. Eat first, Jayanagar. Unbelievably soft and pillowy!

6. Taaza thindi, Jayanagar.
7. Kote idli Mane, Kanakpura.
6-8 idlis for 20 bucks. Idlis are alright but you have to appreciate this person's resolve...

13. MTR, Lalbagh. For the nostalgia :)
14. ravE idli. Don't have a pic of MTR's iconic preparation, so please adjust Maadi with Raghavendra tiffin, hsr. These were nice, moist and soft for a ravE idli.

Served with daali tovve and coconut chutney.

29. Bangalore Cafe, Jayanagar. Kiddo's first Darshini. Will never forget. He polished off this idli with white benne in no time :D
30. Annapoorna Refreshments, Sahakar Nagar, near GKVK. Had these after a nice, long run with Brijesh Gajera, @travelingrao and Ashva gang :)
31. Amma's idlis :) lots of childhood memories, road trips, train journeys are associated with her gingelly oil + podi smeared idlis. ❤️
32. Siddappa hotel, Sampangi Rama Nagar. Legendary hotel of half dosE fame. The plate is messy in the pic because they sit you down and serve thindi items as courses ;) had palav before idlis ;)
33. Umesh dosa point. Top notch pudi masal dosE but their idlis are alright too ;) With thuppa and two chutneys.

Nice thatte idlis. The sagu was fresh!
35. God level bidadi thatte idli at hotel shivadarshana Shashi bidadi thatte idli, Bidadi. Mind blowing! That bombay sagu is ♥️🔥 too!
36. Udupi Tiffanies, Nanjangud. This is a small, 31 yr old place on the same street as the Nanjubdeshwara temple. Soft, flavourful idli. One plate has four pieces ;) the chutney was good and the ambodEs were terrific too!
