Civil activist Kaliakar #AMRENOV reports that on 20 March 2022, investigator of Anti-Corruption Agency in Pavlodar region named #TAUKEL D.S. closed the criminal case against the police officers from Ekibastuz on Article 146 Part 2 (torture). @EU_Commission @hrw

The decision was approved by the prosecutor of Pavlodar region #OMARGALIYEV A.B.
Thus, the 🇰🇿 authorities demonstrate that the "New Kazakhstan" - is the same old 🇰🇿 : with political repressions, impunity for torture, absence of objective and transparent investigation.

This week the Kazakhstani authorities are visiting Brussels, including human rights commissioner Elvira #AZIMOVA, who claims to have been doing "transparent investigations", but in reality it is seen that the authorities are engaged in an imitation of "political reforms".
