Centreline cooling for RB18 and MCL36. Tall fuel tank on Mercedes and McLaren due to shorter wheelbase. W13 has cuts for coolers, MCL36 hasn’t (so rads are forward). Alfa builds own gearbox casing, rear pushrod suspension. Williams has not 1 but 2 radiators along centreline. #F1
Venturi tunnels are where aero work is done. On the RB18, entries to the floor are small inboard and taller ourboard - the opposite of most teams, except Alfa. Thick leading edge. Inside vanes are curved to create vortices for outwashing tyre wake, as previous bargeboards. #F1
Pullrod front suspension on the Red Bull (heave spring visible through the opening in the monocoque) and the McLaren. Steering rack put back forward on the RB18, contrary to the RB16(B). Front lower wishbones on the Alpine are low, front higher ones are high on C42 & MCL36. #F1
On F1 2022 cars, the steering wheels look quite unchanged (but to be checked). The Mercedes’ one visible here is Russell’s : the main difference with Hamilton’s is the centre rotary switch (slightly different shape and blue instead of purple). #F1
On the Alpine and the Aston Martin, it looks the front brake callipers are placed vertically at the front. The Red Bull is also a bit forward. Usually, they are placed at the bottom or slightly rearwards, for weight distribution. #F1
The solutions for the bib are very different from one car to the other: damper (?) for Ferrari, Belleville for Red Bull, spring and damper for Haas, etc. #F1
