Rape of Iraqi women detainees by US military personnels.
In December 2003, a woman prisoner, “Noor”, smuggled out a note stating that US guards at Abu Ghraib prison had been raping women detainees & forcing them to strip naked. Several of the women were now pregnant.

The enquiry launched by the Major General Antonio of US military, had confirmed the note by “Noor” and that sexual violence against women at Abu Ghraib took place.

1,800 digital images of naked female detainees - a male Military Police guard “having sex” with a female detainee; forcibly arranged in various sexually explicit positions for photographing; and naked female detainees - were leaked which Bush admin refused to release. 3/11
One such case was reported by Italian journalist, Giuliana Sgrena, that in the middle of the night, American soldiers broke into the home of Mithal al Hassan and arrested her along with her sons. She was kept with her sons and told not to see them ever again. 4/11
The soldiers took her to abu-ghraib prison where she was subjected to brutal torture and raped by US personnels infront of her sons in same cell. 5/11
In September 2003, another Iraqi woman Selwa was taken by US military personnel to a detention facility in Tikrit, where an American officer lit a mixture of human feces & urine in a metal container and gave Selwa to gulp it. 6/11
'I told the surgeon I cant do it' she said. There were many soldiers stood next to us. The surgeon whispered in my ear 'If you dont gulp the mixture, I'll order 1 of these man to fu-ck u'. That shivered my body & I had to gulp it. Still they sexually abused me, Selwa said. 7/11
Another woman Nadia recounted the rape of her cell mate in Abu-Ghraib. She says, "she had been unconscious for 48 hours. She had been raped 17 times in a single day by different personnels". She continues to be imprisoned by painful memories that left her scarred. 8/11
Cases of rape first came out of prison through smuggled note by a female detainee to the resistance forces -- in which the other female detainees had asked resistant fighters to bomb the prison and save their dignity from US military. 9/11
According to HR activist, swedi "hundreds of women were detained not because they did any crime, but merely because of whom they married to. US soldiers would often raid a house & if they fail to find male, they take wife & daughter where they would sexually assault them. 10/11
This is the freedom Bush and civilized western allies brought to the people of Iraq.
