@lianbuan Like always, Marcos begins his speech by hyping Sandro with oft-repeated joke that young women scream for him only to find out they're screaming for Sandro. Washington Post's @RegineCabato writes that Sandro is heart of Marcos' social media strategy. washingtonpost.com/world/2022/04/…

In Mindoro where power outage is a problem, Marcos says he will address electricity if he wins president. He still wraps it up by saying all hurdles will be overcome with unity - a branding that has worked for him if survey results are indications. | via @lianbuan #PHVote

@lianbuan In Batangas, Sara Duterte says she condemns shooting on Leody de Guzman and Manobo-Pulangiyon tribesmen in Bukidnon, says "lahat ng election violence we condemn that, we already wrote Comelec a general letter if there is any incident lahat yun ay buksan nila ng official inquiry."

@lianbuan After crossing over from Mindoro to court Mimaropa, which went to Robredo in 2016, Marcos finally reaches Batangas at 7pm. Despite the explicit endorsements of governors in Calabarzon, Marcos dropped survey points in this region so that he and Robredo are 38-37. | @lianbuan

As crowd chants “panalo ka na,” Marcos says: “Konti na lang, basta walang iwanan, at walang tulugan. Alam naman nating maraming nangyayari kapag gabi,” alluding to his claim of election fraud in 2016 which has been junked unanimously 15-0 by Supreme Court. #PHVote | via @lianbuan

@lianbuan Reporters had a really hard time earlier trying to enter through the backstage even though we have Uniteam IDs. BBC's @Howardrjohnson stayed outside and managed to ask Marcos "are you hiding something from the public?" It went unanswered. | via @lianbuan

@lianbuan @Howardrjohnson From yesterday: PDP-Laban senatorial bet Salvador Panelo, when asked about Marcos’ stance on ICC seen to protect Duterte, invokes Constitution by saying ratification of Rome Statute was not valid. We asked: The Constitution also says observe due process of drug suspects.

@lianbuan @Howardrjohnson ICC so far retained jurisdiction over case of Duterte’s alleged crimes against humanity in Davao and in drug war, albeit on pause because of deferral request last year. ICC Prosec Karim Khan asked for proof that PH probing on its own. Panelo defers to DOJ if PH already submitted.
