Because some people have absolutely no idea how media works here’s a very short thread on Johnny Depp V Amber Heard and THAT Milani product’s release date #JusticeForJohnnyDepp #AmberHeardIsALiar

The basics:

Amber Heard’s attorney claimed that she used that palette and carried it throughout her entire relationship to cover bruises. (Johnny Depp left Amber Heard in May 2016)

Milani themselves have confirmed that the product was not even released until 2017

(Not arguing on whether you think how they did it was right or not. Fact is they confirmed it.)

Then someone claimed that the brand were lying because the product was featured in this glamour article: glamourmagazine.co.uk/gallery/how-to… (Article dated 2016)

But they missed out a rather massive detail...

Here is the link to view the archives of that article: web.archive.org/web/2017070100…

Archives do NOT update with time, they remain an exact screenshot of the time it was archived.

Here’s a screen recording of me viewing the first archive for that article- 28 March 2017.
As you can see, the Milani product is NOT included on the article

And here is a screen recording of the 22 April 2022 archive.

As you can see the product is now featured on the article.

Just to confirm that both archives remain with the same release day even though they show different products

So the fact is when that article was first published in 2016, the Milani kit was not even featured in it. That was added at a later date.

This is standard procedure by the way, articles always update with the times especially when talking about products.

It was physically impossible for Amber Heard to have used that makeup during her relationship to Johnny Depp.

It was not even released at the time!

The fact I even have to make this thread is ridiculous btw and I’ll be the first to say it 🤣

If you’re going to claim an entire brand is lying about their own product, at least make sure you understand how that industry works.

Just to add to this. The product doesn’t even do what her team claims it does, it’s not for covering bruises, cuts and swelling.
It’s not some screen level, special effects makeup product 🤣
